very charmingly decorated small
very charmingly decorated small hotel; emphais of hotel appears to be in the visual (very pretty) rather than actual room comfort (e.g. no towel bars or hooks or anywhere to hang wet towels, inadequate soundproofing, extemely dusty patio and patio furniture... uncomfortable mattress..probably needs to be replaced) Nice breakfast room. Nice staff at front desk. Arrived on a very hot day in mid-May, unable to make any of the room temperature controls or fan work, was told that the unexpected (early) warm weather meant there was no way for the existing air/con or even the fan to function! "Open the window"..very hot outside w no breeze...so??? too bad? I would have preferred just a comfortable room.

Il Guercino Hotel Bologna is very
Il Guercino Hotel Bologna is very nice hotel behind the Railway station. It has very spacious rooms, very clean and comfortable. It is little bit walking distance from hotel to the city center. Next time we are in Bologna definately going to stay in Il Guercino Hotel Bologna.

This hotel is very close to the railway station but is ticked away so is nice and quiet. A really cute place with very friendly and helpful staff. I it of a walk from the main area but there is a bus that goes straight there if you are tired after a day of shopping.

Beautiful
Stayed at hotel Il Guercino in June 2012. Loved every bit of the hotel. Service was excellent, rooms and hotel overall beautifully decorated. Room was as it was shown on hotel's website. Very clean, towels changed every day + coffee / soap supplimets filled every day. Location is good, takes 5-10 minutes to reach Via Independenzia by walk, 5 min walk to central railway station, grocery store 1 min and near hotel there are a selection of restaurants and shops. Bus stop is round the corner. Staff is extremely helpful speaking fluent English. Would certainly stay at Il Guercino another time if travelled to Bologna.

Jari Pizzeria Via Sebastiano Serlio 2, 40128 Bologna, tel: 051 356498. Visited Jari several time while stayed in Bologna. I am having only positive feedback to give. Service - excellent and friendly, athmosphere - cosy and relaxed, food - delicious and beautiful, value for your money - better than generally in Bologna, staff - welcoming and professional, would I go back there and recommend to other visitors - absolutely!! Best part of Italy I experienced while stayed in Bologna. Tip; try Jaris Sicilian specialities!

Wenn man in die Stadt will dann ist dieses Hotel schon ok ausser das Zimmer 111. Das ist nur ein recht dunkles Zimmer mit sehr wening platz und ,null aussicht!!!!! Man schaut auf eine Wand und kann nicht einmal sehen wie das Wetter wohl sein wird. Nicht empfehlens wert. Und auch sonst läst alles einwening zu wünschen übrig. Ich weiß nicht ob es daran gelegen hat das wir über ebooker Monate vorher schon gebucht hatten, oder so. Sonst ist Bologna eine Reise wert oder auch zwei nur beim nächsten mal wird ein anderes Hotel gesucht.

Fortunatamente ho utilizzato la camera doppia per uso singolo, era molto piccola ! In base alla descrizione mi aspettavo di poter raggiungere piu' comodamente il centro città. Ambiente gradevole, personale gentile e disponibile.

hôtel en dehors du centre historique,
hôtel en dehors du centre historique, mais accessible à pied de la gare, de l'autre côté des voies ferrées. Chambres et décoration joliment refaite, sauf que la moitié des chambres donne sur un mur aveugle... demander les chambres sur la cour, plus agréables. Accueil gentil mais l'internet est payant (2 euros les 5 heures), ce qui est mesquin à ce prix et dans cette qualité d'hôtel. La prima collazione est facturée en plus, elle aussi, 6 euros, mais il y a plein de cafés en bas de l'hôtel où prendre "un capuccino e un brioche con panna"...
