No better hotel to explore Bologna from
top notch service coupled with unrivaled central location make this the perfect base for a few days in bologna. with the exception of the heat that is too warm and dry (i had it off and it was still too dry and warm), plus dust and crumbs on the carpet in my room that were not vacuumed up, there are no complaints. top marks for the woman in charge of the breakfast room, it was a delight to see her cheerful attitude every morning , esp. how she remembers your room number, your coffee and newspaper preferences

Great Location
Stayed for a long weekend with friends. Found the staff very helpful and friendly. Hotel is in a great location for sightseeing and shopping. Would have loved to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room as room service for a tea at €6 is very steep! Unfortunately, I am a tea drinker so the nearest McDonalds did very well at €1 a pop.

Get train to Florence for the day. Bit expensive at €50 return, but worth it if you have the time.
