Deluxe hotel of exceptional beauty and with ideal location. Garage for clients available. 0909 S.R. The hotel is a historical building, the Palazzo Ghisilardi Fava, which was converted into a hotel in 1911. The hotel is located in the heart of Bologna, in famous via Indipendenza, a stroll away from beautiful Piazza Maggiore and its Towers. This is the main area for shopping, restaurants & bars. It is easy to reach via public transport.

Large and very comfortable, from 30 to 35 square meters, rooms are lavishly furnished in a classic style with a four-poster bed, an antique chest of drawers and a Murano-glass chandelier. Both dressing area and bathroom are in marble and include two washbasins, a shower and a bath tub. Deluxe doubles feature: satellite TV, minibar, direct line telephone, Internet and writing desk.

Great Location

Stayed for a long weekend with friends. Found the staff very helpful and friendly. Hotel is in a great location for sightseeing and shopping. Would have loved to have tea/coffee making facilities in the room as room service for a tea at €6 is very steep! Unfortunately, I am a tea drinker so the nearest McDonalds did very well at €1 a pop.

Get train to Florence for the day. Bit expensive at €50 return, but worth it if you have the time.
