best place to stay if coming by car or train

He had an excellent time at this hotel the first time we arrived by car in Bologna and we returned based on previous experience. The location of this hotel is ideal if you arrive by car or by train. Right outside of the hotel there is a bus station. Take 25 to and from Bologna Centrale (train station) or downtown Bologna. The staff is fantastic and will provide you with a map and a list of restaurants that will serve the best TORTELLINI IN BRODO.

Ask for cappuccino to have with your breakfast. They make the best in my opinion.

Nice hotel not far from downtown.

I found my stay at the hotel to be a very pleasant experience. The staff were very kind and helpful with travel advice and providing information on upcoming venues in the city. Overall I would say that there was nothing missing in my experience.

Perfect suburb Hotel

Easy to reach by car from the airport. Nice and calm suburb area. Perfect connection to city center through bus no 25.

Great Little Hotel

The staff was warm, welcoming and very helpful. The Hotel itself is not far from the train station but there is also a bus stop across the street where you can catch a bus to the station for a euro. There is a park, small markets and good restaurants nearby, though arguably, it is hard to find a "bad" meal in Bologna. The hotel seems to take a "green" approach in it's use of energy; many hall lights are set on sensors so they operate when needed.

Really enjoyed my stay there.

Really enjoyed my stay there. The staff are friendly, the rooms are a reasonable size and well decorated, and the breakfast is very good too

Very comfortable stay!

We stayed here overnight on our honeymoon during our marathon two-week jaunt through Italy - it was a bit of a haul from the square and the train station, but the friendly staff and very comfortable room definitely compensated. Loved it.

Nothing special...

Nothing special. We were in Bologna with a car so staying in the center of town was not an option. But this hotel did not meet our expectations in any way. Disappointing.

Great little hotel in Bologna

I made this reservation for my college-age children who were traveling together in Italy. They loved the place. The people were friendly and helpful, they had bicycles available in the lobby for guests to use(at no extra charge) and the location was an easy ride to the university area and close to the train station. They said the room was comfortable and spotless and newly rennovated. They can't wait to go back!
