Dining tip: Long walk from hotel

for a traveler just arriving in Tel Aviv in the evening and looking for a good local and charming meal, go to the Old Port of Jaffa, a long walk or short cab ride from the hotel. For great and filling street food nearby, you can't beat the Felafel available at the Carmel market, just a hundred yards from the hotel. Just seven shekels worth will fill you up for the day!

Cozy but lovely

Location, location, location. 5 min walk to the beach, 3 min walk to Caramel market, easy to walk around everywhere. With regards to the room, this hotel reminded me of the words you use to describe a studio apartment in NYC. Cozy, quaint, boutique. Our room was very small. The management recommends placing your luggage under the bed to create more room. There was no exterior window and the shower was within the room separated by a curtain which could really steam up the area after use. The included breakfast was excellent and we were satisfied with our choice of hotel but just be warned about the tight quarters.

Kanu - Vietnamese spring roll place on Nachalat Benyamin south of Rothschild. Incredibly delicous, fresh, innovative rolls, dumplings. Small, hole in the wall place, but extremely satisfying.
