basic room and clean, located on busy street but rooms in back overlooking cemetery are very quiet, substantial breakfast served in dining room, large living room with computer and wifi available for guests, staff very helpful. Location is perfect
across the street from Herods Gate for exploring Old City and East Jerusalem.
great value for the money
This is a bare-bones economy hotel. The rooms were clean, the Old City was literally across the street, as was the Police Station. The staff was friendly and accommodating. The amenities were few- no phone or alarm clock in room, no refrigerator
or coffee pot. If you happened to be in the room when room service came by you would go without services as they did not return a second time. I did enjoy my stay- but would probably choose a more comfortable hotel next time. Also, they had no room for me the day I arrived- had to go to a hotel up the street and charge the night on my credit card until the reservation issue was sorted out.
