Royal Dead Sea

We had a wonderful experience at the Royal Rimonim at the Dead Sea beginning with the welcoming staff at the reception. The hotel ammenities includes private beach area with loung chairs and lifegaurd, fresh water pool with a waterfall and a relaxing indoor spa with mineral water pool, jacuzzi, sauna and more.The pool area and Lobby were nice and clean, although the rooms a bit less. Our room was very spacious, with a sofa, sitting area, balcony and bathroom with complimantary soaps and shampoos. We are looking forward to coming back to the Royal on our next trip to Israel

This is the worst hotel i have ever stayed in!!! In my entire life!!! The place is dirty and never got cleaned in the 3 days we were there. I cannot even convey how bad this place is. First of all this place is very old, it looks like its stuck in the late 70s or early 80s. All the furnishings are falling apart, the chairs are ripped, the tables are crumbling. The staff is busy all day just making sure the building does not fall apart. Its beyond disgusting how dirty the place is. The hallways are filled with hair balls, dirt balls and candy wrappers. The floors are black from never being washed. The dust from the carpets which probably get vacuumed once a month at best flies in the air as you walk. The food is salty and barely edible. The managers are oblivious to the problem!!! Front desk staff is overwhelmed by the complaints all day long. We witnessed at least 3 very angry encounters. Our room did not have a working sink or toilet. It took 3 maintanance guys and a lot of instruments to fix the problem. I took showers outside because i could not make myself step into the grimy bathtub in our room. The room also did not get cleaned even once during our stay. Luckily it was only 2 nights. We ran from this horrendous place. Definitely do not stay here under any circumstances!!!!
