First is was so far from Jerusalem and buses to Jerusalem were on time but couldn't get one before 10 am and the last bus left Jerusalem at 4:30 pm. Secondly the food was included in the price of the room, a great deal, I thought. A wonderful
dining hall with buffet style menu and made to order omelets. The desserts were out of this world good, best chicken fingers ever, lots of salads and great food for people who want to eat healthy and eat lots! Third, a great mix of people from the country and a few foreigners. Fourth the spa was wonderful but the treatments very expensive and the desk service was not the best. The treatment people were very competent. Lastly the pool was not heated and the grounds could use a good clean up and plantings done. The lobby was welcoming and the staff worked very hard to keep the place looking nice. Some of the staff were not friendly but always helpful. I would give this hotel three stars for the clean room and great food.
Hotel features (5 = best, 1 = worst):
Masada and the caves of Qumran are a bus ride away.
