Skahard House is a 200-year-old Georgian farmhouse renovated to reflect a way of life in Ireland of old. It is a boutique hotel set in the quiet, pastoral backdrop of Limerick, which is an ancient city originally founded by the Vikings. The house and grounds are located on privately owned farm, with lush rolling fields, wild life sanctuary and prehistoric remains of a genuine 2,500 year old ring fort on Skahard hill, with panoramic views of the surrounding countryside. Holiday leisure is spent relaxing in outdoor jacuzzi, playing croquet, reading in the conservatory or walking undisturbed on lands.
