- As Kildare is rich in equestrian history, it is only fitting that the cocktail bar be named after Dr. Michael Smurfit's' great Irish gelding, 'Vintage Crop', winner of the 1993 Melbourne Gold Cup, 1993 and 1994 Jefferson Smurfit Memorial Irish St Leger. This was the first Irish horse to surpass one million pounds in winnings. The bar and balcony area overlook the wonderfully manicured lawns, adorned by a host of specimen trees such as great Irish Oak, Yew and Western Red Cedar.

- The Kwam Suk- Royal Thai & Oriental Restaurant is situated on the first floor of The Palmer Smurfit Clubhouse. This traditional Thai and Asian restaurant blends the very finest of Irish produce with spices and flavours of the east in order to create authentic, oriental dished for the Western palate. Decorated in opulent shades of reds and golds, the restaurant overlooks the dramatic landscape of The Palmer Smurfit Course whilst exuding a comfortable, relaxed and laid back atmosphere.
