We were a bit taken a back to find this was a B&B over a pub (in booking it said hotel) but were pleasantly surprised. James (a fourth generation owner)and the staff were wonderful and couldn't have been more helpful. The room was very comfortable
(and large) and had everything we needed. It is right on the road (Ring of Kerry) in a quaint little town. We ate dinner in the Pub and the Irish Stew was the best I'd had in all of Ireland. After dinner we walked and explored the neighborhood. Breakfast the next morning was wonderful and served by the most gracious Patrick (reminded me of an English Butler) who gave us great info about the town and a cemetery right down the road that dated back to 1200. It was well worth the visit to it that morning. We very much enjoyed staying at Larkin's Pub and highly recommend it.
