Great Galway Location

Hotel staff were friendly, very helpful, and informative. Rooms were spacious and comfortable. Location is the best and right in the heart of Galway Action. Tours can be accessed through the hotel staff. Tour busses are all closeby. Bus and train stations are within a block of hotel. Breakfast was pricey, but many restaurants nearby with reasonable prices.I would definitely use this hotel again.

Great in Galway!

A great location in the center of Galway - easy to explore the city from there. Quiet at night. Limited on-sight parking, but they did pay for the public parking in the garage next door when necessary. One drawback: breakfast was included in our stay; a friend joined us for breakfast, and since they had no a la carte menu, we paid 22 euro for coffee and a bowl of porridge.

If you can get a cheaper rate that does NOT include breakfast, you can probably find breakfast for less than 22 euro.

Lovely Central Hotel

This was a very central hotel - 2 minutes from train/bus station. Breakfast lovely and service like something from a bygone age!! Pleasant, chatty, helpful staff. Room comfortable - a little too warm, as is usual in hotel rooms. Galway is a great city - plenty going on. Would certainly go back.

Time-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

If getting out at bus/train station, the Park House Hotel is literally footsteps away. We walked the wrong direction! Turn right at the bottom of the hill where the buses are parked. There is a bar called Garveys on the corner of the street - Forster Street. The hotel is on the opposite side about half way up the street.

Central location

We visited Galway with extended family including my eighty year old mother and loved the location of this hotel central to everything. My daughter complained her room was kind of dark (1st floor), my room was fine. The food is great, the service was great they were so busy and still stayed attentive to our needs.

Great location

Park House was clean and well equipped, great for both business and leisure travel. It's the perfect location near Eyre for restaurants and nightlife and is also just a short walk from the new coach station and Tourist Office. Breakfast was pricey, but there's plenty within walking distance across the street and in the square instead.
