The room was very comfortable and spotlessly clean, the staff were hospitable, friendly and efficient, however,on the downside, first impressions are so important, the hotel façade is tired and jaded as are the foyer and common areas,a minimal
refurbishment and paint job would do wonders also the dreadful smell in the main stairwell should be addressed.a smaller but irksome observation would be that there was no towel rail in the bathroom !!.If the above suggestions were to attended to the Eyre Square Hotel would be an gem.
