Check in was easy. Staff were more than wiling to accommodate. Very homey atmosphere with sitting areas where one could watch TV, videos etc. Coffee, tea available. Rooms were very inviting--great beds and big bathroom. Our room was on the front
facing traffic, and didn't hear any street noise.
Wish we could have stayed for more than one night!! The breakfast was excellent and for only 6 euros--cooked to order and an excellent display of pastries, cereals, fresh fruits, juices etc. Would definitely recommend--Hope will be able to stay here again.l
We had a nice family room (room for 4) that came with a kitchen. We didn't need the kitchen, but it was a nice option. The breakfast was fine, nothing special. The baked goods were packaged. The price was good, and we got what we expected for the
price. The location was very good, off a main road into town, and near student housing. Overall a nice place to stay.
Although we only stayed for one night the Amber Hill offered a sense of home and comfort to our trip. Just a short taxi or bus ride from Galways gorgeous city centre pubs and shopping along with the lovely Salthill area including the prom with the
arch and museum. I cannot wait to return to the area.
