Great Time

The hotel was clean and close to everything. The staff were friendly and informative. We were able to walk everywhere in the city. Only about 15 minutes at most to downtown and 5 minutes to the botanical gardens. Breakfast was included and had a really good variety. Would definitely recommend this hotel. J & S Ontario Canada

There is a card you can get that saves the taxes. I would recommend getting one. It does not work at all stores but alot of them take it.

Very good experience. Free parking at rear of hotel. Really excellent service from the male receptionist on duty, thank you very much. Took a trip on sight seeing bus and was picked up. Really worth a stay.

Ideal base for Queen's Quarter

We booked this hotel as part of a package with flights. It was a perfect location for us as we were visiting the University area. The hotel itself is what you would expect from a 3-star. We just wanted to somewhere to sleep, get showered and have breakfast and we were able to do all three! We were there for four nights and had to live out of our bags as there was minimal storage space for clothes - just a small rail with a few hangers and a shelf above - there were no drawers, so perhaps the rooms were intended for shorter stays. Self-service breakfast had just about something for everyone - basic choices but well stocked. The bar drinks were expensive, so we only had a drink there the first night.

feedback

I was really happy during my residence at the Holiday Inn Express BELFAST CITY. The serivce was excellent and every thing was made to make the stay comfortable: clean room, comfortable bathroom and good service. I also liked the tranquality and calmness of the place as this helped me to spend lovely days at the hotel. At night I used to watch TV and talk to the family. However, the room would be more comfortable if there was a fridge. This is avialble in most hotels. Apart from this every thing was wonderful and worth ever penny paid.

Worthwhile Hotel

This place is clean and well located within Belfast. All our cab rides cost about 5 pounds and under to get us to all the places we wanted to go. The rooms were spacious enough and from what I hear roomy for the UK. The bathroom is new and well washed. Free parking was a great plus as we were planning to head to Northern Ireland from here with our rental car. Breakfast was VERY useful to have here included with our stay. The hours went till 12, which is later than I've experienced at previous hotels. This is SO useful to have! We didn't need to wander the streets hungry in the morning, instead we had a full, yummy Irish Breakfast every day with plenty of drinks and pastries to go along with it. I highly recommend this hotel.

Family trip

Breakfast was a buffet of hot scrambled eggs, sausage, ham, a variety of breads, jellies, cereals, juices, milk and hot drinks. My favorite was the hot chocolate! Then we were ready to see the sites and walked to many places from the hotel. The room was clean, quiet and comfortable. Everyone was very helpful and friendly. I would stay there again!

Great value for the price

Stayed one night before flying out in the morning. Smooth check-in, staff gave helpful recommendations for nearby restaurants (plenty of choices within 5-minute walk radius). Clean room, basic amenities (no in-room fridge, Wifi available for extra charge), very comfortable bed. Plenty of choices on in-room TV. I had to leave next morning at 7:15, and full breakfast (eggs, bacon, pastries, etc.) was ready downstairs at buffet a couple minutes before 7:00. Excellent value, would definitely stay here again if flying out of Belfast (only about 5-10 minute taxi ride to both City Airport and Central Station).

Nice Place

The Holiday Inn Express was a comfortable clean hotel. The breakfast - included in the price was good. A nice selection of hot and cold food, with fresh fruit, juices, coffee and tea. The staff were very friendly and willing to provide advice on where to go and what to do. Hotel is within easy walking distance of the city. I highly recommend this hotel.

Nice new hotel

This is a very nice, relatively new hotel. Access is excellent, no having to carry heavy bags up or down stairs.Rooms are spacious compared to older UK hotels. Breakfast buffet was one of the better ones I've seen at a hotel of this price range. WiFi is only free in the lobby area, not in the rooms. There is a city bus that passes by the front door but downtown is only a 15 to 20 minute walk away, as is the bus station with connections to the airport. Some small grocery stores an pubs about 5 minutes away. Botanic gardens a short walk south.
