Great location, expected more for 4 stars

Perfect central location to get around Dublin. Close to Temple Bar, Grafton Street, and public transport / tour bus options. Lobby, restaurant and bar areas were great and a nice place to relax at the end of the day. Our room was basic and not what I expected for a four star hotel. No space for anything other than the bed and a small table and chair for one, walls were paper thin, there was no air conditioning, and to top it off they decided to re-paint the hall that our room was on. Paid a premium expecting 4 star quality and this fell short.

Good location and comfy room

The staff were very welcoming from the moment I wrote an email asking for directions. The hotel is very extravagantly decorated in a style that never ceases to amaze. The location is great and breakfast (not included in the price so ten euros) endless - you could sit and stuff yourself all morning if you chose to.

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

The Sinn Fein Bookshop guided tour of the Easter Rising and the reasons for it was incredible! It really brought home the injustices of Irish history and made the whole of Dublin centre come alive. Some insignificant shabby street corner suddenly became the location of a great act of bravery. Go along, you will love it.

What a GREAT Hotel!

Ideal location, food lovely, staff friendly, rooms were massive and beds were so comfy i didn't want to leave. Love the decor too really funky, my only complaint (as a woman) would be that the lighting in the bedrooms was far to dark to see to put your make-up on! But other than that a great hotel and i would recommend and stay again if i came back to Dublin. Thanks for a great stay :-)

Christmas Shopping weekend

Everything was great overall- but the room we ordered was not in their records - (ie wanted a twin bedded room - got a double with view of fire engines!). This was quickly sorted for us. The only thing was the hotel was so hot it was difficult to sleep - and we could not turn the heating controls down any further. Would definitely stay there again as location was great for shopping - and bus trips. One of the best hotels we have stayed in Dublin.

Time-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

Book the City Bus Trip which lasts for 2 days - so you can hop on or off when shopping. Also good value for money. And check with shops that they refund money - as twice we had to choose another item as could not get a refund.

Exactly the right spot

As always in Dublin, a friendly welcome, a warm atmosphere, good fresh food, and right at the centre of things in the city. Every other hotel should learn that providing free high-speed wifi should be as normal as clean sheets and hot water. Well done to Trinity Capital for grasping this point! A truly enjoyable stay, and I hope to be back soon
