We loved Dublin!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Took my family to Ireland after being in Italy for 5 weeks. What a great time. Perfect location. Only wished I could have stayed for 5-6 more days. Great landmarks, shopping and food. Had a few pints of the Mothers-milk. Awesome!!!!!!

pick another hotel

This hotel did NOT meet my expectation. As I was only staying one night between flights, I noted that long term guests were given rooms upon AM arrival and I heard the clerk tell the guest not to broadcast his early check-on. severa others who arrived much later than me were provided rooied before me and even taking an hour plus walk around the city before I try again did not help. When I finally got my room, it had no AC and as a diabetic I needed to keep my insulin cold. Also no in room ref. I was charged 25 Euro extra for a room with AC and they did provide a small ref for that fee. I ate at the resturant for lunch and dinner. Both times the staff was unattentive and the wait for my meals was excessive, In fact, when I finished dinner, the manager was closing the cash reigister and the waiter was taking orders for snacks from the bar so after waiting 20 minutes I walk out, I did go the reception desk to complain and settled the bill at check out. Bear in mind, that I have traveled on business for 30 years and this was by and far the worst service I have ever had.

Best Location, Cleanliness Needs work

The best location. You can walk everywhere and feel safe, you are right above/next to a fire station and the main police station of Dublin. Our bathroom was overall clean but had a funky smell and we asked it to be cleaned again and it still had a funky smell. Very pricey but if you can afford it a great location. Overall value ok.

Funky, friendly, and very comfortable hotel

Walking into this hotel is a hoot -- craziest furniture and decor! The owner must have had a blast. The front desk staff and doorman are unbelievably friendly and helpful (and that's saying a lot for Ireland, where EVERYBODY is welcoming). One night early in our stay some drunk Americans (typical) were shouting in the hallway at 3am a call to the front desk had it settled in minutes. On our return night we were in a room with some slightly frayed furniture, but everything is clean and fresh. Minutes to great breakfast places and central sites.

Great Location

Everything was great apart from 2 details, my room did not have a fridge or air conditioning. Other than that I would highly recommend this hotel and would definitely come back.

Weekend Trip to Dublin

Got an extremely great rate on the hotel and for the money was a great value. The hallways were a bit dated and the room was a bit dark. The room was clean and tidy but definitely looked it's age. The hotel in great walking distance to all of the local attractions.

Birthday weekend in Dublin

We had a great stay at the hotel, the decor was equally as good as the website pictures. The staff were very friendly and polite and we received excellent service. The room was very nice, clean and well furnished. Very handy having an iron and a hairdryer! The only slight improvement would be the shower which was quite low and meant I couldn't get right under it. We had a great trip to the Guinness factory which was amazing the views from the 7th floor were superb. We also visited the Temple bar area which was buzzing all day and night with live music pretty much a constant. Overall our dublin trip was brilliant.
