Fantastic location
Really enjoyed our 3 night stay at this hotel. The staff was very helpful and eager to make our stay perfect. An earlier reviewer described the place "like falling down the rabbit hole" as the decor is a litlle trippy.....but when you are out and about all day and night in the city, who really cares? What makes this hotel a great place is the location. You are a 5 to 10 minute walk to anything. To Temple Bar, Grafton Street, St Stephens, River Liffy, Tara Street Station for the DART line. Bus stops for the links to the airport or to the hop on//hop off bus are both just 5min away. There is a SPAR right around the corner. ONLY drawback is it is above the firestation, but to us it was an added charm! We will go back for sure.

Unbeatable location for the price.
Terrific location. Pearse St is noisy, but my white noise machine took care of that. At the breakfast buffet best coffee I had in Dublin! My only complaint was the lack of a wake up call one day.

Good Location
The hotel was good for the price. Location is in a nice area in the city. [...] If you stay I wouldn't suggest ordering any drinks at the bar because the workers are experienced, and also the food isn't very good. The hotel could be greater if they had more experienced hotel workers.

Great location and price in Dublin City
This hotel is great if you have any business or function to attend at Trinity College. You will be walking distance from everything in city center, Temple Bar or the college. The bar and restaurant are very inviting. This was the best deal I have encountered in my 5 stays in Dublin in the past 4 years.

Great location
This hotel was in an ideal location to all the hot spots in Dublin. Grafton St., Temple Bar, Trinity College, St. Steven's Green, and the River Liffey were all a 5-10 min. walk. There's no need to rent a car as the bus and taxi services are readily available. The hotel restaurant is very expensive, but so many choices elsewhere. Breakfast at Bewley's on Grafton was fantastic. We were counting on the advertised free shuttle from airport, but were told by the shuttle driver that Trinity Capital no longer participates. Had to take a cab at 24 euro each way. Also, the hotel's guest computer was out of order the entire time we stayed. I was pleasantly surprised to be checked in at 9 a.m. after a long flight. All in all, I would highly recommend this hotel for comfort, privacy, service and value.

Sightseeing tip:
Short walk from hotel
Do the 24 hr. hop on/ hop off tour bus deal to get around town. It stops at all major interest spots in Dublin and is cheaper than a cab ride to just one of them. (like Guinness Factory). The live tourist information is interesting and entertaining.

Comfortable hotel in the heart of Dublin
Although the building is very plain outside, the indoors of this hotel is beautifully decorated, like with the tall throne-like chairs in the lobby. The rooms are very comfortable, too. Across the street is Trinity College, where we saw the amazing exhibit of the Book of Kells. We walked to all the other sights in the city. We never needed to take a bus. I definitely recommend this hotel. The only negative was no A/C or heating controls.

Great shopping is a short walk away where one can find many inexpensive Irish souvenir stores, like at Carroll's and at a bookstore, Eason's.
