Unbeatable location for the price.
Terrific location. Pearse St is noisy, but my white noise machine took care of that. At the breakfast buffet best coffee I had in Dublin! My only complaint was the lack of a wake up call one day.

Got a great price for the Trinity
Got a great price for the Trinity Capital Hotel for Christmas Shopping in Dublin 2010. It was a very cold weekend with the recent snow etc and I found this hotel so warm and comfy the bathrooms are a little dated but the beds were great!! The breakfast on the Sunday morning for 9.95 was gorgeous and so fresh for a buffet breakfast. Would definitely recommend it and would stay here again!! Good value for money!!

Perfect means perfect
Excellent, beautiful hotel within walking distance to...everything (presuming you like walking). Close to Temple Bar area, Medieval part of town, St.Patrick's... Guinness Brewery is farther attraction-wise, but still doable. Wonderful restaurants nearby and friendly people everywhere! The hotel staff was among the nicest and most helpful I've ever encountered. Highly recommend this hotel.

Money-saving tip:

Take the Aircoach (bus) from the airport to the hotel rather than a taxi. It's substantially cheaper and drops you off just up the street from the hotel. Very easy to use! Buy round-trip upfront to save even more.

We used to stay here a few years
We used to stay here a few years ago, until the prices became too high. Now that they're come down again, this is still a fine hotel, with a distinct personality and very easy walking access to all the city centre spots.

Everything just works, so well, that you don't notice, it just happens around you, quietly, no fuss, no fanfares. Staying here is an experience to be repeated as often as you can. Great hotel!
Easy access to nightlife, the hotel is a few blocks from the Temple Bar District. Easy access to the airport, the airport shuttle is only a block away. The hotel is super stylish and the beds are really nice. The bathroom is modern with a large bath to soak. Recommended!

Cool decor average hotel
Don't even bother trying to get early check in. My flight arrived at 7am and I was told their housekeeping staff doesn't even come to work until 10am. I finally got in my room at 11:25am. Lobby staff made no attempt to make myself and another early arrived comfortable. A little hospitality, a cup of coffee, a place to was our faces, etc would have made all the difference. Room was very dark. No big overhead light. One entrance light, small bedside light on either side and one small desk lamp. Never got Internet to work in my room despite having the tech there twice. Only wi-fi is in the lobby but it is free. My room 633 was on the fire station side and I could hear their PA system all night. Another guest on the other side said the street noise was no better and constant so I suppose that is just the issue with Central Dublin. Lots of noise but definitely no extra insulation to reduce it.
