Cheap and cheerful lodgings at this friendly Dublin hotel

Just a 14-20 Euro taxi ride from the airport, this hotel is great for people on a tight budget. The hotel staff is extremely helpful and friendly. Parking is free, underground, and gated. The bus stop was an easy walk for my elderly parents, less than the width of an American football field. Beds are clean and relatively comfortable. The carpet wasn't exceptionally clean. There are no frills. You get a little bar of handsoap and some tea bags. There is an electric kettle in the room. There is a supermarket near the bus stop where you may pick up the things you missed. There is a great little restaurant next door called Macari's with cheap prices, huge amounts of food and a friendly staff. It was perfect for crashing after an international flight and making an early connection. There isn't an airport shuttle at this time.

Great price, low-end neighborhood
Good location to airport and bus available into city center. First impressions were scary, next to projects and derelict buildings. Rooms clean and staff helpful.

Airport Hotel?
We picked this hotel because we had an early flight and wanted to get to the airport easily. It was miles away from the airport. The buses didnt start running in time for us so we had to get a taxi to the airport. Not cheap. The staff didn't know where we could change money, find an ATM or what time anything opened. Had 2 cups for 3 people and not enough tea,milk,sugar etc. Had to use the room key to get through every door and to use the lift and to turn the electricity on in the room. Disappointing all round.

Great price
Less than 10 minutes drive to airport, great price, friendly and helpful staff, easy to find, secure car park. Room was comfortable, clean, and very spacious. No free internet.

Lovely staff
Needed somewhere close to Ballymun for one night, this did the job. Secure parking, easy to get to, staff couldn't have been nicer. Room was clean and comfortable, and being on the top floor was surprisingly quiet for a city hotel. Great value, would recommend.

Good, clean, comfortable place.
Good, clean, comfortable place. Not too far from the airport, 12-15 Euro Taxi ride. Staff polite and efficient. Neighbourhood not much and remote so just good for a layover.

Comfortable and convenient location
Hotel clean and staff friendly. Lots of buses pass by hotel - several bus routes both to city and Ikea. Great athmosphere in hotel bar during Gaelic matches etc. Ikea just down the road - a short drive. Very convenient to airport. Secure underground gated parking. Supermarkets across the green.

Only had an overnight stay as
Only had an overnight stay as it was a stop over. I found the staff very friendly and helpful, and the room was very large, larger than many rooms i have stayed in lately. My only problem was no express bus service to Dublin airport and the taxi was €15 E/W. I got a great rate on the room, so this wasnt too much of a problem
