Good for airport transit stay
I used this hotel only to overnight before catching a morning flight. It was perfect for that - felt very safe and was very clean and comfortable. After a slight problem finding where the Dublin Airport Hopper is located at the airport , the bus driver gave me a return rate of less than the 5 Euro each way.

Ask for the return bus rate. The bus goes from behind the airport church and

needs air conditioning, had to open the window for coolness but that let in a lot of traffic noise. Taxi drivers objected to the short run from the airport.

Cheap bed for a night
It was fine for one night, especially for only 30 EU. But the wifi was overpriced, and you even had to pay in the lobby or to use the computers they had. The shower did not work very well and took a long time to drain. However, the room was spacious and warm. The towel warmer in the bathroom was nice. Breakfast was not included, and started after we had to leave, anyway. Bring your own toiletries!

Would'nt stay at this place again!!
No comparison. there were no soap or shampoo. bed was very lumpy any very uncomfortable. sofa bed was visibly dirty. food was expensive and not very good. clerk did not have right paper work and tried to charge me for the room again but at at different right of 30 dollars instead of 50, which I would of paid instead of the 50 due to room's condition.

Adequate accommodations
We enjoyed walking into Swords for shopping and meals during our stay, but crossing the roundabout to get to the town was tremendously frightening. The hotel was basically a cot & bath for us to use during our stay in Dublin. I would not recommend this hotel for young couples looking for a romantic getaway but it is adequate for the needs of travellers looking for a room for the night or people who need an inexpensive place close to the airport.

Short walk from hotel
Eat in Swords at one of the many restaurants; most were very good. Avoid the hotel restaurant unless you are looking for a quick snack.

Travelodge Swords Dublin Airport
I stayed at this hotel one night only because I had a flight early the next morning. It was very close to the Dublin airport but a taxi cost about 9 euro, which was a little expensive for my budget. It would be nice if Travelodge had a shuttle like many of the other hotels in the area, though you can take DublinBus at a cost of only a couple euro if you can figure out the schedule. Otherwise the hotel was very ordinary. There were limited amenities, so bring your own shampoo.

Try to figure out the DublinBus schedule and take a bus to the hotel rather than a taxi if you're on a tight budget.
