First Timers in Ireland
The pictures on the web site do not do it justice. It is a beautiful hotel. Everything was first class. We stayed in one of their smaller rooms, but it had plenty of space for two people. Loved the robes, aromatherapy products and the turn-down service. Everyone at the hotel was very helpful and friendly. It is not exactly on Grafton Street, but down a small alley, but with a little assistance we were able to locate it after the bus ride from the airport. Would definitely recommend if you are looking for a hotel situated in the heart of Dublin and the attractions. The restaurants in the hotel were even able to provide gluten free items for my husband who has celiac disease.

Short walk from hotel
We bought the AirCoach RT ticket for 12 Euros per person at the Dublin airport. The stops were very close to the hotel and it was definitely cheaper than a Taxi. The bus run frequency was 10 to 15 minutes so we arrived at the airport in plenty of time for our return flight.

5 * Hotel, 5* Location, 5* Service
We have just returned from a very wet 3 night weekend in Dublin and stayed at the Westbury Hotel on Grafton Street. We were very happy with the hotel, the door men on arrival were pleasant the lobby and reception area's were very tastefully decorated, first impressions were good. check in was quick and easy, hot towels were offered on arrival and the receptionist was very freindly and efficient offering a complimentary morning paper each day. Our room was a decent size, the nespresso machine in the room is a great touch and the coffee is very good. I have to say the bed was the most comfortable bed i have ever slept in, the bathrooms clean and modern, mirrors everywhere with a wide selection of complimentary toiletries. Room service is excellent and will be done whenever is convenient for you also offering a turn down service with chocolate on your pillow in the evening. The location is perfect in the nicer part of the City and only a 10 min walk to Temple Bar and the River. My only quibble would be how expensive the food and drink is, breakfast in your room for 2 people is 65euros. Unfortunately we didnt sample the restaurants but i understand the quality is amazing from friends who have stayed before. I would certainly recommend the Westbury to anyone who would prefer to pay a bit more for a quality experience, this is not the place for a budget break but is not too stuffy to make you feel uncomfortable. Great 5 * Hotel, would stay again if I go back to Dublin.

A surprise for my husbands 40th!
I decided to book for my husbands 40th birthday present but did not not to go too far outside Dublin between the kids and all their activites. So decided for once to stay in town book a really nice meal and chill out!! Which is what you can do at the Westbury. The concierge was brillant - took the car (nothing was a probllem even when we had to get him to get something out of it later,) and brought the bags to our room. The girl at the front desk "joanne" I think her name was was excellent - and offerred me complimentary tea in the Lounge, when our room was not ready at check-in. When we got our room it was fabulous (deluxe) so comfortable and just exactly whatwe wanted!! Its 5 star service from the time you enter the hotel until after you pay your bill. Would highly receommend it - wished we were staying for the weekend and you know - next time I will.!!

great location
can't beat the location - right in the city center! a lot of hotels claim to be in the city center, and when you get there, you have a "walk" to the actual city center - but this hotel actually is in the city center; walk out of the front door, and you are on Grafton Street!

Great place to stay
The Westbury was a great place to stay. Located right off of Grafton Street (shopping area), it's very convenient for taking tour buses, eating out and go for a drink. It is walking distance to Trinity College and temple bar area. The Hotel was really nice and clean. This probably one of the best hotels in Dublin. Our superior room was a bit small but it was nice and clean, with newly renovated bathrooms. The service was really good too. The only disadvantage was the very low pressure water in the shower which may have something to do with the area it is located at.

Check out Temple Bar area for great food and live music! We had the best Guinness Pie at a place called Sweeney's with great live music. This area doesn't sleep! It's busy even on 2am on Monday!

Great hotel! Perfect location!
Located one block off Grafton Street. Walking distance to most Dublin attractions, i.e., Trinity College, Temple Bar District, St. Patrick's Cathedral, Guinness Storehouse, and more. Lots of dining choices, fun pubs, and Starbucks in the immediate area. Enjoyed our generous room with its espresso maker. Light switches a bit confusing. Our family would definitely stay here again and again.
