overbooked

overbooked. even though the room was paid for in advance ... this is really bad. other hotel guests had the same problem. the alternative offered in the radisson hotel, was ok, but is not comparable with the offer of the hotel booked.

Absolutely Awful Service

Great location, nice hotel, pity about the service - 80% of the staff we encountered were either unfriendly and/or unhelpful, was given incorrect information twice for booking in a group regarding room availability, was promised a callback which never happened, was a lot of confusion booking in, wrong room assigned and upgrade enthusiastically given for one room not received, tv channels didnt work in any of the rooms, chair throws were grubby, noisy during the night and security accosted us at the door coming back in the evenings or late at night. The worst of all was money being taken off my laser card without permission for a room which reception emailed me about afterwards to say they had not charged for it even though we checked with reception staff 3 times to ensure that all was paid in full and have the invoice/statements printed out by staff to verify that room in question was paid for. Have left a voicemail and sent an email but surprise, no reply. Would advise any one planning to go here to look at other hotels in the area first, will never, ever darken the door of this hotel again.

Wouldn't stay anywhere else

This hotel has the perfect location to go anywhere you want, if you want to leave Temple Bar. I'm looking forward to my next trip. We have stayed here multiple times. The first time quite by accident, subsequently because we loved the hotel and service. On our last visit we were booked into our room and discovered it didn't have heat. They were unable to fix it immediately so they moved us to another room. The next room had a different problem they weren't aware of so they moved us again. When the manager, Eddie, was advised of our plight he apologized for our inconvenience and personally escorted us to a lovely suite. Everyone on staff is terrific. Breakfast is very good, even better when delivered by room service. Love the ambience of this hotel I always feel like Alice in Wonderland when I walk through the lobby:) But that's just me. It's fun. The bar is terrific with a good selection of light bites (can't call it bar food.) If you're not a beer person try the daiquiri, made the way it should be.

Great location, clean rooms, good service

great location right in the heart of temple bar within easy walking distance to Grafton Street shopping, St stephens green and all the main attractions Dublin has to offer. Rooms were clean, staff was very responsive and helpful. I upgraded to a king suite in the quiet section of the hotel and it was very quiet indeed! I was concerned about noise from the raucous Temple Bar and we barely heard any noise at all during our stay. Was a pleasant stay! The room was large especially by European standards, bathroom had a full bath as well which was nice. The only complaint I had was that the hotel charges for every little thing! do not use the mini bar unless you are asolutley dying of thirst or starving, was very expensive! Oh and they charged me 20 Euro for requesting a late check out (20 Euro for 2 hours) which I thought was a bit excessive, they could have comped me the 2 hours since I had just dropped a decent penny to stay at their hotel. Other than that, I would recommend this hotel.
