Dining

The Cellar Bar
A warm welcome awaits in The Cellar Bar. Located in the original 18th Century wine vaults, with its bare bricked walls and vaulted ceilings, The Cellar Bar is an intrinsic part of Dublin's vibrant social scene. The Cellar Bar offers an extensive wine menu which is complimented with mouthwatering menus prepared simply with plenty of Merrion style.
The Cellar Restaurant
The Cellar Restaurant is a refuge from the over complicated food that is a slave to fashion and fad. Beneath its vaulted roof and within its many nooks and comfortable corners you will find a simple pleasure of the best ingredients expertly prepared.
Bar No. 23
The secluded, intimate No 23 cocktail bar has the feel of a private club, offering the ideal surroundings for guests to enjoy one of our signature cocktails, a flute of champagne, or a glass of wine from L'Abeille de Fieuzal, our chairman's own vineyard in Pessac-Leognan, Bordeaux. Hung with exceptional works of art from The Merrions private collection, No. 23 offers delicious canaps, our special whiskey tasting selection, and the very best of warm Irish hospitality.
The Drawing Rooms
Overlooking the larger of the two period gardens, the Drawing Rooms feature spectacular decorative plasterwork on the ceilings, specially commissioned pieces of furniture and priceless paintings from the hotels private art collection. Here, guests can relax in the charming, comfortable ambience whilst indulging in Art Tea or light refreshments.
Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud
Ireland's only 2 Michelin-star Restaurant Patrick Guilbaud, boasts magnificent views of The Merrion's gardens. Patrick Guilbaud's pursuit of perfection is evident in the delicious, immaculately presented dishes prepared from the finest ingredients. Service is equally meticulous, combining efficient French decorum with discreet Irish charm.
Private Dining
With its' own separate entrance and reception, No. 24, originally known as Mornington House, home to Lord Mornington, boasts six magnificent rooms over two floors dedicated to private dining. Each of the 6 beautifully proportioned rooms are decorated using colours, fabrics and furnishings to compliment their 18th century heritage.
