best possible location
The aircoach from Dublin airport stops in front of the hotel, and the big green tour buses (if you're so inclined) start from right around the corner. Plenty of restaurants and shops can be found within a couple blocks, and the place is walking distance from the city center, Temple Bar etc. With all that activity you'd think that it'd be noisy, but our room was quiet, spacious and clean. Can't comment on the in-hotel eateries as we didn't bother.

Theatre break
The rooms were comfortable and clean. However they are a bit on the small side - could have had the bathrooms a bit smaller and extend the size of rooms. . At least the ones we were in - they were at the back and over some kind of generator which was constantly humming... We did not have breakfast there. Also there was a €15 charge for one night in the car park. A bit steep for a resident staying just overnight. Overall it was a nice hotel but not the classy hotel it once was.

great 4-star hotel
I had a really good time at the Gresham! The room was comfortable, though a bit small. The view out on the street was a bit underwhelming and the room was on the hot & stuffy side, even though the thermostat said 14C. The service was great, though, and the location was pretty much perfect, right near the town center. Overall, pretty happy!

Faded Past
My wife wanted to stay at the Gresham eversince she was a small girl. Well was she ever disappointed. The lobby area may be impressive, but the room accomodations are something else. Our room had the distinction of facing a wall........great view!! My wife got a panic attack in the night and tried to open a bathroom window with no luck. The pillows on the bed were the worst ever...like sleeping on rocks!! This hotel needs a major makeover.
