Very Good Hotel

Would recommend Thu, Feb 4, 2016
An excellent choice of hotel in Dublin. Rooms are modern and clean and very spacious. It's not in the city centre and located opposite the 3 Arena and Dublin Port, however the tram stop (LUAS) is directly outside and gets you into the centre in under 10 minutes. There is a bus stop right across the road which takes you to the airport for 6 Euros and takes around 15 mins in no traffic. I would stay here again if I came back to Dublin.

Great way to see Dublin

Would recommend Tue, Jan 26, 2016
Went to Gibson Hotel for weekend, it is a great hotel beside the 3 arena and easy to get to from the north of the country. Also right beside the tram line for travelling into the city centre. The hotel itself is very clean with friendly staff.

Relaxed experience

Would recommend Sun, Dec 6, 2015
Hotel reception staff were very pleasant, friendly and efficient. Service in restaurant was not quite on point, had ordered specific items with breakfast - one item was never delivered the other was provided twice. Standard of breakfast was overall good.

Stylish base for visit to Dublin

Would recommend Thu, Sep 3, 2015
Great modern hotel in Point Village area of Dublin, convenient for central area - at one end of LUAS (tram) line - just 10 minutes to central city. Right next to 3 arena, if that's your reason for stay. My room was of a high standard, comfortable, quiet, with a huge kingsize bed. Good bathroom, with walk-in shower, which worked very well. Wifi free, and that worked too! Rooms are all above ground (accessed via escalators or glass lift) to reception. Grouped around a zen garden in atrium, with a little rill - very attractive and relaxing. Breakfast not included on my package, but continental buffet (very generous) was only 12 Euro. Full Irish a little more - again buffet is large and freshly prepared. Hemidemisemiquaver bar was good for drinks and bar food (which extended to bowls of noodles). Restaurant not open (except for breakfast) when I visited - closed Sunday/Monday. All staff extremely courteous, helpful and professional. Gibson Hotel is highly recommended. I would stay here again on another visit to Dublin.

Weekend to Dublin (3 night stay)

Would recommend Fri, Aug 28, 2015
Modern Hotel in the up and coming Docklands area. 10mins to and from the city centre by tram (luas in Irish). The tram leaves from outside the hotel door. Staff were helpful and friendly. Hotel exterior and interior looked great. Lovely restaurant, bar, lounge, eating and drinking areas. The outdoor seating area is very nice, weather permitting :) Rooms were fairly spacious with a balcony with our selected room (don't know if it's the same for every room). Good powerful shower. Staff phoned taxi's when required and kept our luggage stored safely after check-out and returned without hassle. Small 24hr gym with a good few cardio machines. Very nice sauna and steam room area (accessible until 9:30pm). Room service food and drink available throughout the night if I remember correctly. I would recommend and I would stay again if in Dublin.

It is a great hotel the Lucas is right out side. the staff very good. The airport bus drops just across the road. Only down side is the did not clean the room until late afternoon, so if you come back after walking around Dublin and want a rest before you go out, not good. I ask them to come back at 7pm
