Lovely hotel in great location

This is a great hotel with loads of little extras that other hotels seem to have stopped providing in recent years. The location was fantastic. The food was straightforward but top quality. The staff were friendly polite and helpful which considering this was the OneD concert weekend and the hotel was super busy is a credit to them all. Price wise i thought it was very good value both to book and when there. The only negative for us was having to leave!! Cant wait to get back.

Ordinary

This hotel is perfect if you have an early morning flight out of Dublin. Otherwise, the location is a bit out of central Dublin and not very exciting. The hotel, itself, is ordinary reminding us Americans of a typical Sheraton or something. Nothing very remarkable. Clean. The bar area was nice and roomy but not very typical of crowded Dublin pubs.

Croke Park Stay

We just returned from a 7 night stay at the Croke Park Hotel. The staff could not have been any nicer. The hotel rooms were large and very comfortable and very quiet. We arrived at the hotel at 10 pm and had not had any dinner, we went into the lounge for a nightcap, and when we asked about food the kitchen stayed open so that we could have a meal. It was not expected and very much appreciated. The location is not the best but we had no trouble getting a cab and there was an excellent restaurant within easy walking distance (Italian food and excellent). I received a friendly greeting every morning from the housekeeping staff and front desk. I would highly recommend this hotel

Nightlife tip: Short drive from hotel

The Brazen Head pub was a great place to go in the evening. Go early it gets crowded in the evening. It is the oldest pub in Dublin and well worth a look.
