Not in the city center
The best thing about the hotel was the staff. The staff was supper friendly and willing to help above and beyond the call of duty. The down side to the hotel was the location. The neighborhood was not good for walking or just popping out to the corner store. There were no local eateries or shops near the hotel. The city hop-on-hop off bus would pick you up in front of the hotel during convenient times over the course of the day, but you did not have access to this service on any return trips. Overall, the hotel was clean and pretty modern, but the amenities or lack thereof, qualified the facility as a three star hotel at best. However, given all this, I would still stay at the hotel on subsequent visits and I would recommend the facility to others who want a clean hotel with friendly staff.

Weekend getaway
The hotel was fantastic, couldn't have asked for a more relaxed and comfortable stay. The staff were friendly and helpful. The room was very clean and well presented, also the bed was probably one of the comfiest I have every slept in. The location is good, it is walking distance to the city centre, although I did get a bit tired with all the walking, but I didn't really mind. As we booked our hotel along with the flights we didn't pay full price for the hotel, however I would definitely be happy to pay full price, as it is worth every penny. I look forward to staying here the next time I visit Dublin.

Because of the distance into town breakfast at the hotel great value and very tasty for a full Irish. We ate in on one of the evenings after a full day shopping and the food was great and very reasonably priced

As soon as we checked in everything was plush the staff were always there to help and went out of there way, the room was very clean and as we upgraded to a deluxe room we had a massive bed a hot water bottle and chocolates at night and continental breakfast in the morning which was great! The food at the hotel was outstanding and we ate there twice the lamp shank was amazing and the two free drinks at dinner a night that came free with the room topped it off.

Croke Park Stay
We just returned from a 7 night stay at the Croke Park Hotel. The staff could not have been any nicer. The hotel rooms were large and very comfortable and very quiet. We arrived at the hotel at 10 pm and had not had any dinner, we went into the lounge for a nightcap, and when we asked about food the kitchen stayed open so that we could have a meal. It was not expected and very much appreciated. The location is not the best but we had no trouble getting a cab and there was an excellent restaurant within easy walking distance (Italian food and excellent). I received a friendly greeting every morning from the housekeeping staff and front desk. I would highly recommend this hotel

Nightlife tip:
Short drive from hotel
The Brazen Head pub was a great place to go in the evening. Go early it gets crowded in the evening. It is the oldest pub in Dublin and well worth a look.

Great vacation
It is a little out of the way for a downtown visitor, but easy to get to from the airport (I had a rental car). The staff was universally helpful, even with some strange problems I had. The free breakfast was good, the room comfortable, the area is just fine (some of these reviewers seem to think the area is bad--I didn't feel at all unsafe even late at night). It's a quiet, comfortable place a short taxi-drive from downtown.

Great for GAA action
Right across the street from the GAA Croke Park Stadium. Little further away from City Center. Not much directly around the area and have to walk around 15-20 minutes to get to anything. Great bed, bathrooms, friendly staff!

Very Nice Hotel
Stayed here for Three Nights. Staff were extreamly friendly. Room was clean and modern and comfortable. Coffee and tea in room. Free Parking below. Wifi in the Lobby, and in the hallway, and it sometimes reached into the Room. The Bar was fun the night of a Game. And the Hotel is right accross the street from the Stadium. Which was nice. We got to see Irish Rules Football. they Even Kept the Big Screen TV up and the bar open till 2am so we could watch the Superbowl. It is a bit far from the city center, but not a bad walk from the bus line. or a heafty walk if you feel up for it.
