Dublin's Croke Park Hotel is Superb

While not a resort or destination hotel Croke Park is an exceptional business class facility with outstanding meeting facilities and exceptional service. The staff went out of their way to make our one of the best vacations we ever had. It is exceptionally clean and well appointed with a modernistic look. Beds were turned down daily and what they lacked in drawer space they made up for with service.

fantastic hotel

My self and my mum stayed here for st pats week and we cannot fault the rooms the staff the cleanliness and location.. only a 25 min walk to city centre which we got down to 15 mins by the end of our stay. There were football games on in the stadium directly opposite the hotel but it didnt affect our stay.. the hotel bars n lobby were full with supporters and not one bit off trouble n added a great atmosphere. This was our second trip to dublin but our first stay at the croke park hotel and its safe to say it wont be our last..a fantastic beautiful hotel with top quality staff and service.. many thanks from jan/nina... scotland.

Great service & a lovely stay—slightly off the beaten path

Directly across from Croke Park, and about a 20 minute walk into Dublin Centre, we were really pleasantly surprised by the Croke Park Hotel. The staff was universally friendly, and service was fantastic. The free parking, and wifi were appreciated, and the finish inside the hotel was to a very high standard. Drinks in the bar were outrageously expensive, and the main floor had a bit of a conference-hotel feel to it, but in all other respects the hotel was incredible value.

Experiencing Ireland

The staff was extremely helpful. We wanted to book a tour and the concierge took care of everything, even thinking to book the best seats on the tour bus for us! He also took care of having arranging taxi service for us twice and the taxi was right on time! Check in staff was pleasant.

Perfect couples break

Hotel is rated 4 star and after having stayed there for 4 nights it definitely is a 4 star plus. Could find no fault at all with anything from minute we arrived until we left. Breakfast was greet with plenty of choice. Ate in hotel a few nights and again food was superb especially the seafood chowder ! Well situated for us as we enjoy walking and walk into centre of roughly 25 mins was perfect . Even walked to Guinness storehouse and zoo . Hotel bar perfect to unwind in at night. Looking forward to a return visit sometime ... Especially if we get a fantastic deal again .

Nice hotel but...

Location is not the best unless you want to walk 15 minutes to downtown or are attending an event at the stadium across the street. Cab ride €10 from hotel to downtown. One hop-on hop-off tour company does pick up at the hotel which is helpful. Front desk staff is fabulous- very helpful and friendly. Restaurant is good for dinner - we weren't happy with breakfast due to very limited choices. Rooms are updated and clean but small- fortunately we were only there to sleep and shower. View from our room was terrible - train tracks and dirty water.
