Dining
- Restaurant
- The Sussex Restaurant has long been established as the first in fine-dining for both guests and local residents. Amidst an Art Nouveau Cafe Paris-type ambience, the restaurant echoes an era of times past - where smiling, friendly waiters tend to your every request - the bright, glass recesses in the walls allowing for ample natural light during the day and setting a chattering, romantic scene by night. A special Breakfast is served in the Sussex Restaurant - a vast, delicious buffet including cereals, mueslis, yoghurts, fresh fruits, meats, delicate pastries, warm breads and a variation of cooked breakfasts including a "Full Irish" with fresh coffee and a wide selection of teas. Lunch and Dinner is also served in the Sussex Restaurant from varied menus using the best of fresh, local produce - complemented by a meticulously selected wine list.
- Bar
- The low-lit expanse of this chic, contemporary bar make it a great place to enjoy a pre-dinner chilled aperitif, a zingy cocktail or a cool drink - or simply to join in on the busy chatter of guests and locals alike. A hub of friends and colleagues, Bellini's has become hugely popular since re-opening its doors as a modern progression on the legendary Buck Mulligan's Bar - despite its new interior, the conversation remains the same.

Hard working staff, maintanace nightmare
The first room we were given had a broken faucet in the bathroom. Why didn't the cleaning staff alert someone? We asked for a 6AM wake up call only to find out the phone didn't work. After three days of asking to have these things fixed we were finally moved to an upgraded room. Even that second room had a broken phone but it was soon repaired. As far as the staff they did all they could to make the rest of our stay enjoyable.

Shopping tip:
Short walk from hotel
Take city bus 145 or 46A right across the street from the hotel to the City Center. 1.15 euro and you're there. Those same busses will drop you off right in front of the hotel on your return.

We have stayed at the Burlington
We have stayed at the Burlington Hotel twice now and I must say i think the standard is very high, the staff our friendily and helpful. We didnt book for breakfast but on arrival we were given vouchers to get breakfast at half price and if you didnt want to take them up on the offer there are a couple of cafes two mintes walk away which serves great food or talk a short stroll into the city centre. We will be using the Burlington Hotel again and I have recommended it to friends.

Stayed here as The Conrad was
Stayed here as The Conrad was full. Very Large and nice Hotel. Has plenty parking spaces but parking can be gone very quickly on a busy day. Senior Concierge very abrupt and unhelpful with regards any advise about on street parking. Later I saw him stand next to the door looking at but nit assisting a lady with two young children as she was trying to open two sets of double doors while pulling a wheelie suitcase, a gearbag and a latop case (and keeping an eye on the children), an elderly man assisted her eventually. Otherwise, the rooms are a good size, nose decor, shower over bath (which I dont like as im 6'2" tall), rooms are airy, good choice of TV channels. Food is expensive for average food. Staff in Bar and reception are very helpful and polite. Overall, I would recommend, and will return again.

It was our 2nd stay at the Burlington
It was our 2nd stay at the Burlington in a few months. Comfortable, relaxing hotel with a real buzz. Car parking the only draw back, much too expensive, its more like airport standards. I was also unable to get parked on arrival as the car park was full.
