Great location, comfortable and affordable!

We had a great week long stay here. It really is a perfect location, we walked to all the major sights in the city and the restaurants and bars are right outside the door. The rooms are small, but cozy with a nice comfortable bed. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner at the restaurant was very good in a nice quiet setting :) It does get noisy on friday and saturdays, but the location and price definitely outweighed the noise. Also, there is a grocery store right across the street which was convenient to pick up snacks and drinks for the room. Thanks temple bar hotel, I'd recommend it to all family and friends traveling to Dublin!

Dining tip: Short walk from hotel

On the Liffey River is a excellent coffee stand, it is right over the O' Connell St. Bridge, less than a five minute walk from the hotel. We went here every morning and had great tables and chairs with an awesome view of the city.

Friendly & Helpful Staff all the time!!

We went to Dublin for 3 nights and got an amazing deal at Temple Bar Hotel, which is in the center of everything! Short walk to bus & train stations, right on the temple bar strip, and right next to Trinity College. The staff was helpful all the time! Any questions we had about the area or nearby attractions were answered and they showed us exactly where everything was on the maps they provided. Had an excellent experience here and would definitely stay here again when we return!! :)

Perfect, would recommend

This hotel was perfect for our first stay in Dublin. It was easy to get too from the airport, just catch one of the shuttle buses and get off at trinity college (about 30-35 mins). The Hotel is about as central as you could possibly wish for and surrounded by bars and places to eat, as well as a tesco metro opposite if you want to grab something quick. The staff were friendly and the rooms clean and comfortable.

It would have worked out cheaper for us if we had purchased a dublin pass. it allows free entrance into 33 attractions. google it, or look on the visit dublin site.

Nice Hotel Great location for nightlife but Loud

This was a very nice hotel and seemed well priced. The rooms look new and trendy and the location is right next to a lot of bars and restaurants. This is great if you want to go out and enjoy the night life but the windows in our room let in a lot of noise from outside so sleeping before our early morning flight on Saturday morning was very difficult.

Great Location for price

Hotel in great location. basic no frills right in heart of entertainment area. Staff very friendly and helpful. However very disappointed with room maybe because requested smoking room but had to be worst room in hotel. Faced brick wall on one side and generators on the other. Very noisy because of clubbers leaving club next door. Expected that but didn't expect to be woken up by laundry collection and beer delivery which involved metal cages and beer barrels being rolled on pavement right outside our window from 6am on. Also other rooms on floor being revamped. However, hotel were brilliant when we complained and moved us to a much better room on 4th floor which was much nicer and enabled us to enjoy our break even if the smoker did have to go outside to have a cigarette.

Grogarty's Bar is a must for an authentic taste of Ireland (food and entertainment) but make sure you go up to the second floor. We enjoyed fantastic display of Irish dancing and great music. Also diner directly opposite hotel (American Thunder?) fantastic service and great food in great atmosphere. Definitely check out the Leprechaun Museum for a fun hour out.

GREAT location!

Our stay here was pleasant. There wasn't much that was spectacular about the accomodations, but the location was amazing! Right in the heart of Temple Bar - an energetic, and entertaining area full of pubs, clubs, restaurants, and street performers.

Couldn't ask for a better location

My husband and I went our our first trip to Dublin, Ireland and were interested in a centrally located hotel. What we found couldn't have been better! We were right in the center of everything. The Temple Bar was not even 1 minute from our hotel. Amazing! We were interested in a budget hotel and this was a great price. We'd definitely stay there again if going to Dublin.

Hotel is amazing if you're interested in all of the tourist-y stuff. But, it's also located very close to pubs that the locals visit.
