Could have been better
The location was excellent, right on the edge of Temple Bar. It was a bit noisy, but worth it. The lobby is beautiful. The staff is wonderful and personable. The rooms look like they were last updated in the 1950s. A king bed is 2 twin beds pushed together and one of mine was broken and the shower curtain was stained. The heat turns off with the electricity when you take your key to leave the room so it can be quite cold in the evenings. I paid the extra €8 for breakfast and ended up with hard, rubbery eggs, bread (no toaster), and ham. When I asked for tea they gave me a pot of burnt coffee.

Perfect for tourists
If you're a tourist, this is the place to go. The hotel is in the Temple Bar district of town, close to a lot of the tourist attractions. Almost everything is within walking distance. The hotel doesn't have its own parking, but there is a parking garage across the street for about 30 euro for 24 hours or 9 euro overnight (6pm-9am). The staff were pleasant and helpful. Breakfast was good, but a bit spendy. There were better options for breakfast nearby. There are a good amount of bars and clubs nearby as well, so it gets noisy at night, but it wasn't too bad on the top floor with the window closed. Overall, it was a good stay at a good hotel.

Great location, comfortable and affordable!
We had a great week long stay here. It really is a perfect location, we walked to all the major sights in the city and the restaurants and bars are right outside the door. The rooms are small, but cozy with a nice comfortable bed. All the staff were friendly and helpful. Dinner at the restaurant was very good in a nice quiet setting :) It does get noisy on friday and saturdays, but the location and price definitely outweighed the noise. Also, there is a grocery store right across the street which was convenient to pick up snacks and drinks for the room. Thanks temple bar hotel, I'd recommend it to all family and friends traveling to Dublin!

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
On the Liffey River is a excellent coffee stand, it is right over the O' Connell St. Bridge, less than a five minute walk from the hotel. We went here every morning and had great tables and chairs with an awesome view of the city.

4-Day Trip
It was my first time going to Ireland and I was by myself. I found that the hotel staff were very accommodating. The hotel is located in the best part of Dublin. It is very centralized and is in a safe area. It has a great in-house bar and club adjacent. The bar is next door and the club is down stairs. These were a great socializing points. And being alone I found them to make my trip a safe and enjoyable time. I highly recommended this hotel to all my friends and family. This is were it's at!

Location
Great place to stay for location. Right in Temple Bar - loads of pubs within seconds of walking, grocery store across the street, pickup for tour buses is about 2 blocks away, river and the oldest pub in Ireland is a short walk & airport bus picks up and drops off at the corner. Only draw back is the street noise, especially if you stay on the front of the building - Fleet street is hopping most nights, regardless of season or weather

Money-saving tip:
Short walk from hotel
If you don't eat a big breakfast, pick up muffins or any of the other fresh-baked goods at the grocery across the street - buffet in the hotel is high priced if you aren't pigging out - but go the night before, Tesco doesn't open early...actually, very few things open early in February...

Crowded Inn at Temple Bar
Overall not a bad. The only problem was that the room was so small that you would have to sit on the bed to use the desk. The desk and bed were parallel. The desk is a waste of space, get rid of it and make the room livable. Staff were pleasant and helpful.
