Could have been nice...
Good location for sight seeing. Close to Christchurch, St. Patricks Cathedral, Guiness, on the tour bus lines, Temple Square, etc. Nice to have a kitchen and washer/dryer, BUT the lobby, hallways, stairways, elevator, all not in good condition.
Building in need of a fresh paint job and new carpeting. The room, too, in desperate need of some TLC. Things are broken, carpet worn, smell of mildew, not well cleaned, along with being a noisy building on a noisy street. Windows didn't quite work. Stove door missing from one room. Washer door broken in another. Yes I was crazy enough to book it twice with a break in between for a trip to Western Ireland, where I was reminded how nice a hotel could be. I've stayed in apartments in other European Cities, but this was the worst. By the last night there was a leak and the carpet was soaked. There was a promise of a partial refund for the problems, but I haven't seen it yet. I visited the office (in another building a few blocks away) several times to complain about various issues. Run the other way...
