Pleasant surprise

Nice size room, comfortable bed. They were able to check me in early - very nice after a very long flight. I was expecting a lower quality hotel at this price - so I was pleasantly surprised. Staff was very helpful. The location is good nice - close enough to Trinity, Grafton, Temple Bar to walk within 15 minutes or less. Also close to Pearson St train station in case you want to take a day trip along the cost.

Never again!!!!

When you arrive they let you know the breakfast will be served in the morning between 7-10am, and make it seem it is included - beware of surprise charges on your credit card for breakfast that is overpriced and not worth the trouble. You're better off eating somewhere else. Also, The electricity was going off few times a day and they were NOT quick to fix the problem saying they are busy with other guests at the moment and that it is out of their control as it is an old hotel. THAT'S RIGHT!!! I purchased an all inclusive media package as my son wanted to see a movie and I needed to browse the internet - the keyboard did not work and when I contacted the front desk, they wouldn't even offer to replace it. Overall, unpleasant stay and WILL NEVER AGAIN BOOK THIS HOTEL when staying at Dublin. They wouldn't even accommodate me in any way for ANY of the troubles they caused. Unprofessional, unfriendly, and RUDE!!!

Good value!

Walking distance to Temple Bar area, but outside the noise! They even let us check in early since we had just arrived from the States that morning and were really tired!

Dublin Does it right

As a first time visitor to Dublin, I found the location a little odd. However it works. It is centrally located to most things in Dublin. Everything was a quick walk away. The staff was awesome. The hotel itself was extremely charming. I would stay there again on another visit to Dublin.

our stay

The hotel was very convenient for sightseeing in Dublin. The staff was helpful with directions and advice. The only inconvenience was that they do not supply wash clothes but I have heard that this can be common in Europe

Sightseeing tip: Short walk from hotel

Make sure you do your research before you go to Dublin if you are only planning on being there a short time. There is so much to see and it is spread out so a cab or bus may be necessary. Be sure to visit the Temple Bar area as there is a lot of street music and things to do at night.

Nice Place

This was a nice hotel at a great place, convenient to St. Stephen's Green, Trinity College and so on. The outside looked kind of rough, but it's just because it is a historic building. The inside was beautiful, and the rooms were very nice.
