I had an awesome time in Dublin and the Mespil was a great location for me. Everywhere I wanted to go, in Dublin, was only a short walk from the hotel. I would stay there again.

Stunning hotel

A few of us girl stayed here over the weekend as we was celebrating a birthday! The hotel was lovely, all the staff were very attentive and the rooms were spotless! We really wasn't expecting this as we got a really good deal so thought it would be a standard hotel, it was far from standard. Very chilled out atmosphere and never had problem with noise.

Re: Needs updating

The hotel itself is in a great location however the decor both in an outside the room is shabby and our dated. Also the price of 12 euro for a cooked breakfast is scandalous !!

Best thing is location

It's a basic city hotel. Cups not washed on second day, tissues box not refilled, shower really lacking in power.Little tatty around the edges. Rooms really quiet - although there is traffic noise and no aircon so you can't shut the windows. Beds comfy. Best thing is location - ten mins walk to Grafton Street but excellent local facilities and fab pubs and restaurants mean you can escape the centre of Dublin once you've had enough of the noise and bustle and revellers. Excellent food nearby - breakfast in Searsons pub and fab food in Kashk restaurant.

Visit to Dublin

This is my third stay at this hotel in less than two years. I stay there when visiting Dublin. I find the location excellent for accessing Dublin City Centre. The staff are courteous and friendly without being intrusive. It meets my expectations any time I stay there and I would recommend this hotel to other visitors.
