Couples Palestine Weekend Early 20s

My partner and I stayed her for valentines weekend and what a perfect choice we made. I work near by in the campus and that is originally what drew us however we wil be returning customers. The hotel is clean and modern the rooms are five star quality the staff maintain the same standard. There is a small pub on the premises kingswood country pub we went for a meal and with no reservations we were quickly sat and comfortably served a set menu that worked out very well priced. The only down fall was the air-con as it left both of us quiet stuffy the next day however I am sure we could of easily solved that with the flick of a switch if we looked. Great stay .

Good Hotel

This hotel was clean with a nice staff. Nothing spectacular about it and nothing to eat in walking distance besides the hotel restaurant which had weird waiters and was pricey, food was good though. The hotel had free internet which is nice. Breakfast cost 8€ and was descent. There's no pool or anything special. Need to take a taxi or rent a car to go anywhere. Renting a car was best for us. But it was a quiet hotel with sleepable beds, just what we needed.

Not Convenient, but definitely clean

I booked this hotel because of the price. The staff were friendly, but not over the top. It's more of a business type hotel. The restaurant next to the hotel has weird hours and doesn't open for lunch/dinner until 2 which didn't make sense to us. The walk to the Luas (local transportation) is about a mile away so you either need to call a cab or take a long walk. In fairness, the room was clean and thats a huge deal

Couldn't have been better

The hotel location wasn't near the usual sights but that didn't matter to us. Our main objective was to be available for new found relatives. The hotel staff opened their breakfast room to 33 people who gathered to meet us. They couldn't have been more accommodating. We could see that if our room was on the highway side it would have been a different experience. Our room looked out over the deck and some nice trees and was very quiet even with the window open. Can't say enough about how nice, courteous, and helpful the staff was. Thank you Maldron Citywest.

Dining tip: In Hotel

The food at the hotel wasn't the best. I would not recommend the breakfast if you are buying it. The restaurant across the courtyard was very good and reasonable. We loved the chicken sandwich.

Nice comfortable and clean Hotel...

...but a few CAUTIONS: Pub hosts private parties on weekends that can go late; so if you are an early to bed, light sleeper, make sure you get a room away from the courtyard overlooking the pub. On another night, there was a barking dog late at night. Pillars in garage make parking a challenge when it's crowded; fortunately this was only an issue one night. LUAS train station is probably much more than a "15 minute walk". Bus downtown stops right outside hotel, but not as frequent as train. Glad I had a car to take me to the LUAS station.

great hotel

We were down for the irish dancing in the city west hotel. i would like to have been offered a breakfast deal, maybe if an adult has breakfast then the child eats free. but breakfast was never explained to me, ok i bought online, but it could have tempted me if it had been an option, its expensive enough to have to buy a room rate when its only myself and a child, could there be children prices and rates in hotel at special events like the Irish Nationals.

Just Okay

Just back from a weekend at the Maldron City West, very dissapointed at the lack of a bar with a proper seating area. Breakfast could have been better too. Overall though it was a pleasant enough stay.

Clean and Quiet

My daughters and I stayed at the Maldron Citiwest because the price was much more resonable than the Citiwest Resort where the WKC World Championships were being held. Our hotel had good access to the bus line and was within 5 minutes drive of the resort. Housekeeping staff were amazing....rooms were super clean.
