Business hotel with excellent meeting facilities
The Louis Fitzgerald is designed with business travelers in mind. convenient to airport. Helpfull employees.
Dineing room Mgr. most helpful. Our whole experience at the hotel was very good. Parking was great and free. The hotel seemed very secure and well staffed.

Bed shortage
Ok so after arriving and spending 35 minutes to get checked into our room, which turned out to be a double instead of a twin, we were ok with this as they offered a camp bed. Camp bed never turned up, apart from that there was nowhere in the room to put one anyway because the room was tiny. Bar staff were very nice, pitty they allowed kids in the bar till well after nine, actually closer to midnight (these kids were not residents, I know this because i spoke to one of their fathers). I really dont know how this hotel has 4 stars, a 3 star at a push. To be honest this hotel is very like some of the budget hotels around the area.

The Louis Fitzgerald, great value
We found the Louis Fitzgerald to be great value for money. The hotel is very relaxed and the staff are very welcoming and friendly. The rooms are clean which is all you need when traveling. The evening meals in the restaurant are lovely and the portions are a good size. The location of the hotel was great for our purposes. The only thing I will say is that the breakfasts are a bit of let down for what you pay. We were down to breakfast at 7.45 and it was cold. My wife is a coeliac and could only have rashers and tomato, which were cold. There was also no fridge in the room we were in. Despite this we were happy with the hotel.

The staff at the hotel were helpful
The staff at the hotel were helpful and friendly. We made a mistake with our booking and it was no problem for the staff to change it and sort everything out for us. The room was large and clean. We had a perfect night sleep. The hotel was located a close drive to the city centre, perfect our needs. We would be happy to stay at the hotel again.

Very nice hotel
This is a very nice hotel which we booked at an excellent price. Our room was very spacious and clean. It's off the road a bit so it's quiet. Our beds were very comfortable, and we had a little refrigerator in the room. The front desk staff were helpful with directions. The LUAS station is about a 15 or 20 minute walk away, so you can just park your car at the hotel (no charge) and use public transportation.

Very clean, efficient hotel, charming staff, comfortable room. The location is good because of the hotel's proximity to the M8 and to the Luas (tram). While this is a huge bonus, the walk to the Luas is not an easy one taking at least 15 minutes. Returning alone at night from the city centre/Luas felt unsafe. All in all, I'd use the hotel again.

Great Hotel
The location to the Luas was good. Not too far of a walk. If travelling with older adults, not a good place to stay unless you want to pay for cabs. Staff was friendly and helpful. Good base for travelling around the country.
