Great location
Great location for sightseeing, with easy access to the Luas directly behind the hotel and otherwise quieter location. Easy parking in IFSC, with hotel discount. Discounted breakfast deal available at check in, excellent value and quality. Would highly recommend.

Spartan experience
The lobby of the hotel is very nice and gives a good first impression. Likewise, the staff tries to be helpful and accommodating. We were allowed to check in early and given a good sized room with a nice view of the river Liffy. HOWEVER, the room was spartan. The closet space was minimal without a luggage rack. The only lighting came from 3 wall mounted lights; there were no lamps. There was no mini fridge or pay for view TV. There were adequate towels but no face cloths. Minimal toiletries were provided and low quality. The worst part was the lack of heat in our room most of the time (esp. nite). We had to keep requesting "heat blasts". Finally the staff gave us a small heater. Do not believe that the hotel is a "short walk" to everything. The plus is that it is very quiet, but it is a mile or more to almost anything worth visiting in Dublin. All in all, not a bad experience, but it certainly could have been better.

Dining tip:
Short walk from hotel
Ely's Bar & Brassarie, 2 streets down from the hotel served excellent food at moderate prices in a charming underground 200 year old stone warehouse.

Fantastic hotel
my stay was brilliant the location was good although there are no shops in the immediate area. The hotel staff were very welcoming and accomodating even when we checked in early they made up a room for us very quickly, also the food was lovely. The only downside was the fact that they didnt provide 24hr room service for food and drinks etc... and they charged 4 euros to deliver to the room, after all the money spent i didnt think i should have to pay for that. But overall really enjoyed my stay would definately recommend.

Short walk from hotel
best idea is to pay 16 euros for the hop on hop off city sightseeing tour the ticket is valid for 2 days and takes you to over 26 stops so is really worth the money and the sore feet. Make sure you go to the national history museum where this bus stops outside its free entry and a really great day:)

It didn't really matter that the
It didn't really matter that the rooms were comfortable or the breakfast was good. There were people running through corridors and slamming doors all night and the hotel didn't do a thing about it. Not the hotel to choose if you want to get any sleep

Stayed here for one of the rugby
Stayed here for one of the rugby games in Croke park, it is in walking distance to the stadium and very central to O'Connell st and shopping. Room was nice nice and clean, but there was a very strong smell of bleach from the bathroom but the next day it wasn't as bad. Car park is next door and a hotel rate of 14.50 for 24hours.
