Great Value
The Isaacs is in a great location. One might think that there would be much noise, being just across the street from the bus station, but there is not. I have stayed at numerous three stars in central Dublin, and this one is the best.

Center of Dublin
Located across the street from the bus station to/from the airport in the center of Dublin was really nice. Hotel had the basic arrangements and an optional breakfast for 10 Euro. Smoker friendly.

excellent location
the hotel is in the middle of dublin, putting everything within walking distance. despite the hotel being neighbors to the train station they never kept me awake at night. the only problem i had with my hotel was the bathroom- the toilet had trouble flushing and the shower wouldn't drain properly

Great Hotel
I had a wonderful time at Hotel Isaacs. I stayed there for two weeks and the accommodations and especially the staff were excellent. They were helpful and courteous and made my stay in Dublin a very pleasant one. Also the Hotel is right down town and in walking distance of all the major down town sights and entertainment. I highly recommend trip to Ireland and a stay at Hotel Isaacs!

Nightlife tip:
Long walk from hotel
Check out the Temple bar area of town. It is very historic and filled with wonderful pubs and restaurants, many with excellent live music. I particularly enjoyed listening to music at Sweeny's Pub.

Solid - Staff friendly and helpful.
Solid - Staff friendly and helpful. Location is quite good for shoppers with O'Connell St. adjacent and Grafton St. a short enough hike across the river... My only quibble during my recent stay was the intrusive sound of roadworks during the night (Yes..!) which only ceased at 1.45 am but that wasn't the fault of the Hotel in fairness. Just another good reason to always travel with your earplugs I guess...!

Keep looking...
The place was in a decent location for the city center, but it went down hill from there. The staff was rather unfriendly. Our shower drain clogged immediately and they were very slow to fix it. Then they were unapologetic as if they were put out for the trouble... Unbelievable!! Unless they're giving the rooms away, look elsewhere.

A very good central Dublin Hotel.
A very good central Dublin Hotel. Only issue is the noise from the night club but overall just what we wanted for the rugby International weekend. Buffet Breakfast for €10 was good value.
