Quiet, nice hotel
Staff was VERY friendly and helpful. Free WiFi. Free parking. Good location- not far from Dublin or train station.

Relaxing & friendly
Stayed here while visiting family in Dublin & Tallaght. The hotel is just far enough outside the city to have nice big rooms and have a quiet street, but close to the highway for quick trips anywhere. The Green Isle provides friendly staff, delicious food, and a well-equipped gym & pool. HUGE comfy beds, too! But contrary to the description, there is free wifi in the lobby/bar/gym only (none in the rooms, unfortunately). The rooms are not sound-proof at all (luckily we only had a noisy neighbor for one night, during a wedding). And they need more maintenance staff to fixup a few small details (wrinkled carpeting that can cause tripping, closet doors that don't open all the way, widely-fluctuating water temperature in shower). Also, just be prepared for a TIGHT european parking garage. If you don't need a gym/pool, the Bewley's at Newlands Cross is in the same area (around the corner), seems to have more updates, & is also yummy (we spent a lunch there). Overall, worthwhile & convenient & friendly! We even liked it enough to extend our stay an extra few days & changed our flight plans.

The hotel room was poorly lit
The hotel room was poorly lit with no central bulb and two lights in the ensuite out, it made shaving a near impossiblity. The cooked breakfast was cold and there was no facility to heat the plates or the cups. Overall very disappointing and I would not recommend the hotel to any of my friends.

There was no air conditioning
There was no air conditioning in the room. Temperature outside was 27 degrees and only one small window. Very, very hot in the room.
