The illustrious British designer created this award-winning hotel by Dublin's St. Stephen's Green in 1998 for stylish travelers. Palatial bedrooms with views of the park and mountains transport guests from the bustle of the city center. A Michelin star restaurant and unique rooftop garden make this a refined refuge for travelers to the Irish capital.

budget hotel at a luxury rate

Starting with the positive - the location was amazing, right in the center of Dublin, walking distance to all the great places to visit. However, this is not a hotel I'd stay at again. Nothing was terrible, but everything was a little less than satisfactory - The room was nice but small, the bathroom was clean but the faucet leaks, and the minibar malfunctioned. The worst part of the experience was being charged 10 Euros for one local call. If this were a budget hotel, I would have no complaints, but it was definitely not worth the luxury hotel rate that we paid.

First time to Dublin

Front desk staff were very nice and the room was very nice too. We overlooked the green and I was concerned about the street noise but the windows were well insulated. Bed and bath were very nice and the location couldn't be beat, easy walk to pubs. The hotel showed its age in stairwells but otherwise was in very good shape.

Clean and convenient 5 star

I was glad the hotel was up to snuff. Being in Dublin and other large cities one can get something terrible when you don't know the city. The location was ideal and the room was very clean and comfortable, however we were not able to check in at 2:00 pm because check in was at 3 p.m. and the room was not ready. Really and hour before check in and the room is not ready?. The room was smaller than I expected but it is the city and space is precious. Overall a nice 5 star place that I would recommend.

Great for Couples

I thought the staff couldn't have been more accomadating. We only went to the lobby lounge was, and I felt that was lacking. We ordered a 'cheese plate' that took over 25 minutes to arrive, and that's only because I asked where it was. It seemed they wanted us to order another drink before they would bring the order. Also; they've got a 'Martini Menu', but if you specify the vodka #like Grey Goose#, the price goes from $11.25 to $14.00. Compare that with the Westbury where we checked out the lobby bar for the same and it was $12.95, as per th menu

Fabulous Romantic St Patricks Day

I booked this weekend break as a gift for my niece`s 21st birthday on St Patricks day. The hotel couldn`t do enough for her and even surprised her in her room with some cakes and goodies! Fantastic-I`ll be going myself in the spring!!

Perfect base to explore the city

Very friendly and knowledgeable staff, it seemed as if nothing was too much trouble. Hotel is minutes away from all the shopping, eating and drinking you could ever want but also the lovely St Stevens Green is right across the street and offers peace and quiet in the middle of the city. Not cheap but, as the old saying goes, you get what you pay for.
