First time to Dublin!
This was a fantastic trip. We are a young newlywed couple, and wanted to explore Dublin but on a budget. The hotel was very nice, modern, clean and the hotel staff was great. There is 2 computers in the lobby with free internet. Breakfast was continental, NOT full, but was still good. Selections of yogurt, cereals, toast, coffee latte and capp, crescents etc. Our ONLY complaint was the very last night there was a fashion event next door at the crown plaza and needless to say we had a large quantity of completely obnoxious young fashion people on our floor making noise at all hrs of the night. we didnt sleep our last night there. The crown plaza nextdoor has 2 restaurants. one is expensive (we didnt go to) and there is Cinnabar. Cinnabar is excellent. we ate there pretty much every night. wonderful selection, great prices, great bar, and superb waitstaff. very good food. We took the bus at the end of the hotel driveway every day to get into the city, it was 1.80euro, you need exact change. or just use 2 euro. Take the bus to Oconnell St for the main strip of shopping and downtown. make sure you take the bus facing downtown (at end of driveway its the bus stop on opposite side of st. Nightlife at Temple bar (an area in downtown) is the best. great pubs, we went to the old dubliner and stayed most of the night! After mon-thurs in the city it was enough and for friday we took the free shuttle back to the airport and rented a car for about 100 dollars, and spent all of friday driving down the south coast around the wickelow mts to see the country side. perfect way to end the trip. Shutle Won't Get You to 6:00 am Flight
We primmarily chose this hotel because of its proximity to the Dublin airport and its shttle service. However, the first shuttle of the day was scheduled at 5:00a which is too late to make a 6:00a flight. To make our flight, we were forced to use a taxi costing 12 Euro. Otherwise the hotel was what I expected and good value.

Bucolic yet Modern
This hotel is not in downtown Dublin and it is not right next to the airport, with that said, it was nice, quiet and restful. For the intent of this stage of our trip it was perfect. This was our last stop in a four city tour of Ireland. We wanted a location that was close to the airport and convenient to downtown. Just a quick walk took you to the bus stop; there was a shuttle service that took us directly to the airport with no hassle. Rooms were clean and modern, in fact so modern it took a moment to grasp some of the room features. I guess that's what they mean with the Holiday Inn Express commercials, once you figure out the features, you're ready to take on anything!

Great hotel near airport
I had a large clean room that was nicely decorated. My room was just across from the elevator but I didn't hear any extra noise except from the ice dispenser, which didn't bother me much. There were 2 computers downstairs to use and it was free to use them. The shuttle to the airport was very handy and the main reason that I picked this hotel. I would definately stay here again.

Surprisingly great!
We stayed here because we had an early flight out of Dublin. Honestly, I was expecting to hate this hotel. I was surprised that the area it was in actually had a nice scenic park across the street with a pond and pretty trees (not typical for "airport" hotels). Also, there were 3 restaurants next door at the Crowne which we could walk to. There is a shuttle service to the airport. They had convenient touches to their hotel. The only thing that would make this better would be a better bed- it was a tiny double with barely any padding between the sheets and the mattress. Otherwise, I loved the place.

Dublin
The staff was helpful with directions and securing an internet connection. They provided a welcoming prescence. The shuttle service to the airport was appreciated. Overall a good stay. Crowne plaza next door loked nice but maybe a little too hectic and slightly understaffed at the front desk.

Nice place
I stayed at this hotel while I had a layover in Dublin. The airport shuttle definitely made life easier, but the location is kind of out of the way. I was hoping there would be more restaurants and such in the immediate area. There is a bus stop only a few minutes away, and there is a mall with-in walking distance. The room was nice, and clean, and the hotel was quiet. Even though it says Dublin airport, it isn't close enough that you hear planes all night. Overall, this hotel was just what I needed and I was pretty satisfied with it.

Shopping tip:
Short walk from hotel
If you walk to the main road from the hotel, and turn right, you will eventually reach the Omni shopping center. There is a movie theater, several fast food restaurants, and a mall. The mall also has a grocery store in it, so that is handy to have around if you are going to be in town for an extended stay. It's about a 15 minute walk, but it wasn't bad. You stay on the same road the whole time.

Surprisingly Incredible
This hotel was surprisingly perfect. For a Holiday Inn I was very impressed. The room was inexpensive, conveniently located close to the Dublin Airport, and the furnishings were first class.
