Wouldn't reccomend

I would not recommend this hotel, from the outside and the lobby etc. it does look nice and accommodating. However, when I got to the room the disappointment struck. The T.V was old, channels missing and the signal was terrible. There wasn't even a biscuit free with the tea! The wifi had very limited access, dial-up would have been faster! It was ok for one night but I would not return back! All of the staff I encountered were polite, but this hotel was not for me.

Weekend away

Booked a non smoking room but was given a smoking room, because of availability. I have asthma and the room smelt of smoke

Couple overnight stay

We were meeting friends who live in the area and had previously stayed when this hotel was part of Bewleys. The room was functional and good value at the price we paid. Coffee/tea making facilities were adequate. The bed was fine but pillow too bulky. All items required were present in the bathroom. TV was an old model (i.e. not flat-screen) but functioned properly. Overall, I was satisfied and will return again when the need arises.

Family Trip for pleasure

The Clayton is perfect for a family overnight stay in Dublin. It very close the Luas which takes you right into Stephen s green and it also passes Dundrum shopping centre. We were 2 adults and 2 children visiting friends doing some sightseeing and shopping, We didn't use many of the hotels facilities as it was late when we checked in and we left early in the morning. It meet all our needs. Note to park your car its €10

Great Stay

This hotel is located about 25 minutes from City Center, so it's convenient to city restaurants and concerts. It has the convenience of a coach service pick up from the Airport to and from hotel. The hotel has a lovely coffee bar and seating area and the buffet breakfast is great value. I didn't have the opportunity to have dinner in the dining room but the menu looked good. The rooms were kept very clean and has tea/coffee making facility. Staff are very nice and helpful.

Family stay

The wifi signal was very bed. My first day experience was nothing to write back home. The room was changed slim the second day, everything's seems okay except the wifi connection. The TV in the room was an old TV, no good TV channels, it was really bored inside except to sleep.
