Great value, solid hotel

Good hotel and great value. Free wifi was very nice, and the restaurant was good. Keep in mind that it's hard to get food after 10pm, but the front desk has brochures for takeaway.

Great Hotel

Only stayed the one night but can't fault the hotel at all. The staff at reception were friendly and most helpful. The rooms were lovely and warm and very comfortable. There was a wide selection of food at breakfast, everything hot and tasty.

pleasantly suprised

I was impressed with the grandness of the building and the professionalism of most of the staff. Be sure to understand what you are ordering at the bar and restaurant. American versions differ! Reception staff was extremely helpful and there are bus stops that go directly to town and airport. nice little neighborhood pubs. while we were there, there were quite a few children because of the holiday season...a little too loud at times but not their usual environment. The bartender/stafff Anis was an absolute delight and great rep for the Bewleys corp.

Shopping tip: Short drive from hotel

Catch the bus outside the hotel into Dublin. Cheap fares not far to walk to Grafton St. Trinity College etc.

Good for a night

Overall the hotel was nice and clean. They seemed to be significantly under staffed. No one answered the front desk phone when we called from our room and there was a long line for check in. The baby cot was low quality. It didn't have a flat smooth surface for the mattress to sit on. They don't loan plug adapters; we had to buy one for 10 euro in a vending machine. The neighborhood is nice though and we took a nice walk while there. Overall good value for being around Dublin but average service.
