25th Anniversary Couple
The Best Hotel for Couples or Families"
The Castleknock Hotel and Country Club is a gorgeous hotel located in Castleknock, Dublin. It is located on a golf course and the surroundings are beautiful. The interior of the hotel is clean and modern and well kept. The leisure center is great and we enjoyed several evening swims and whirlpool. The restaurant has delicious food and the staff is superb. We enjoyed evening cocktails in a lounge area. We used their internet service which does require euro's to pay for the time used. The entire hotel staff are professional and very helpful. We loved every moment of our 9 night stay. Since we did not rent a car we had to use taxi service to take us to the Consilla train station to travel into Dublin. It was a short train ride. It would probably have been nice to have the hotel provide this service but we didn't mind using the taxi. We enjoyed meeting the taxi driver's and their suggestions on things to do or see while visiting. We enjoyed our stay and would highly recommend it to everyone. Infact, we will return to the Castleknock Hotel and Country Club on our next visit to Ireland

me and my girlfriend stayed here
me and my girlfriend stayed here on saturday night.the staff are very nice and friendly.we had dinner in the restaurant and the meal was 100 per cent, beautiful!the rooms was lovely, very warm and clean.i would recommend anyboby too stay in this hotel

Fantasic couples retreat!
My husband booked a surprise stay at this hotel for our wedding anniversary in august this year. We stayed friday and saturday night. I have nothing but GREAT things to say about this hotel. The pool and spa were amazing, so clean, and great for relaxing! we had breakfast saturday and sunday, we're early risers so we were down for about 7.30am and the spread was wonderful. We opted for the continental breakfast as we are both vegetarians so not much point going for the irish breakfast option! Lovely cereals, breads, pastires, cheeses and fruit, a huge selection and all very tasty! We also had dinner in the hotel on the saturday but opted for the bar menu as there was only one veggie option in the park restaurant, but not a complaint, just what we chose to do, and glad we did as the quiche and grilled mushroom with brie were lush! we wanted a relaxed break away from the city with nothing but peace, quiet and quality time together and thats exactl what we got! we would more than happily stay here again, clean room, helpful staff, spa and pool included in the price of the stay and yummy food, what more could you ask for?

if you're vegetarian, eat from the bar menu, the only option in the restaurant for dinner is risotto which im sure is lovely, but just a tad boring.

Great hotel - location a bit out of the way
Overall we had a fantastic stay at the hotel. Rooms were excellent - spacious and clean. Breakfast was realy tasty, great selection of hot and cold food. Pool / gym was great although the jacuzzi was pretty cold. Bars & lounge nice, drinks fairly pricey. We were at a wedding and food was very good and overall experience was great. The only real drawback is the location - hotel is on a country road 10 mmins from Castleknock. Taxis required if you aren't driving.

The hotel stay was great. Staff was great and food was good. Drinks were okay and not served quickly but okay. Beds were comfy-cozy. All went well. The hotel was far from town...inconvenient.
