Carlton Hotel Dublin Airport

Stayed here the night before our flight home. This is our second stay at the Carlton. Room was clean and comfy. Shower was great. Wait staff at the bar/restaurant was very friendly. Breakfast was great. Shuttle bus to the airport was efficient and on time. Everything you need at an airport hotel.

The hotel was conveniently located both to the airport and to our car rental drop-off. We arrived early and the staff was very accomidating and found us a room quickly. The restaurant and bar were not as cozy as I would have like an Irish bar to be - they could stand to upgrade this to give the traveller a fine Irish send off. It was sort of sterile and right in the middle of other function rooms. Hard to tell where the restaurant began and the bar left off. But the facility was immaculate and all the nessecary en suite items were there.

Not too crazy about the Bar/Restaurant. The person behind the bar didn't seem to believe me when I mentioned that the glass he used (to do a pour that was way to fast) was dirty. I would have expected a 'sorry let me pour another' instead I received a silent sour look followed by an inspection of the glass. I left in disgust and took a cab to down-town Dublin for a proper Guinness. The rest of the staff was pleasant.

I stayed overnight between fights, arriving the night before and flying out the next day. Only wish I could have stayed there longer. The staff was cordial and helpful, the food good, the bed extremely comfy, and the room ambience and amenities were just great.

I started and ended a motorcycle trip through Europe in Dublin. I flew in to Dublin to pick up a motorcycle and join a tour in Belfast. I wanted a nice place to rest before starting and resting before the flight back to the US. This hotel was GREAT. Desk staff was the most friendly and helpful. I was able to get right into my room and get set for the upcoming trip. They gave me help in getting a bus to City Center. Food was excellent with a very polite and positive wait staff. When I got back after 3000 miles on a motorcycle through the Alps, I was ready to see the hotel again! Second stay just as good as the first. Very pleasant place with great people!! I will stay there again!

This hotel was less than half a mile from the Dublin International Airport. The front desk staff was very nice, the room was huge and the bed was comfortable. We got room service and the portions were enough for two people! I have nothing bad to say about this hotel.

the hotel is located a brief distance from the airport but if you're transporting a lot of luggage (in my case a golf bag), the pick up area is not as convenient as the radisson or comfort inn, which pick up right in front of the arrivals area. you need to trek a good distance outside and if the weather was bad it wouldn't be a pleasant experience. it was clean and the room comfortable. the restaurant was good for a one night stay.

I basically just went to sleep and had some food in the evening. The hotel is all the star it has with all you need but nothing more ... Clean room, decent food, no problem with the shuttle, staff was nice and professional.

Good hotel near the airport. Bus service to Dublin was good.

Have stayed many times and always pleased on each occasion. Very helpfull friendly staff, always accomadating with special requests. Runway view rooms with balcony are great and entertaining for children. Have stayed in all the airport hotels and this by far the best and great value to add.
