great value

For $79 a night in Dublin, this hotel is simply unbeatable. It's close to the airport with a 24/7 free shuttle; no need to take a pricey bus, or worse, cab into downtown...where the road noise can be anything but peaceful. Morning departures from Dublin to the States or elsewhere are a snap; get the big buffet breakfast before flying. Rooms are very clean; bathrooms shiney. I've stayed here many times, wouldn't consider anywhere else. Get a round trip fare on the big blue Air Coach bus (one stop at most) to central Dublin. DO take the walking tour across Trinity College at the Tourist Office.

Nightlife tip: Short walk from hotel

Long Hall Victorian pub downtown; St. George's Street. Beautiful, old wood work and mirrors. Excellent Guiness, but wait two minutes after it's served to drink.

Bewleys Airport

This hotel is great for those who need to be close to the airport. Hotel amenities are good, and staff are great. No shops or restaurants exist in the vicinity of the hotel, the closest being at the airport. All in all the hotel is worth the money.

excellent shuttle service

The shuttle service at this hotel is better than most. It's frequent, friendly, and it's actually a large bus so it's very likely you'll get a spot even if there are a lot of people. Room was clean, comfortable, etc. Price was great. Please note, if you're in your own vehicle: parking is not free. Docking one star for spotty wifi.

Wedding anniversary trip to Dublin

Hotel excellent except - for our needs - the location. The bus services to central Dublin take up to an hour and you can wait 20 minutes if you just miss one bus. The trip from the hotel takes just under 10 minutes and you might have to wait if the minibus has only just arrived. The entire journey can take up to an hour and half, although we did one by taxi which took some 20 minutes and cost £24. The amount of money we spent travelling to and from the hotel would have allowed us to use a central-Dublin hotel. Again, hotel great but we wasted a lot of time and money getting to the main attraction Dublin.

worst experience in a two week trip to ireland

I stayed in 10 different establishments in Ireland over a two week period. we stayed here for the last two night because it was close to the airport. the girl the checked us in, who was not Irish, seemed as though we were in convincing her while she tried to watch the construction workings who are renovating the lobby. we asked questions and where told we could read about it for ourselves. we where charged 18 euro to leave the car parked, and was going to be charged about 6euro just to print out boarding passes. went to bar to order food and had to wait 15 minutes for someone to even acknowledge me, which never happened. I was sitting next to the bar so the bar tender finally came and and took care of me. the convince of location did not make up for the pure unwillingness of the staff to try to be helpfull in anyway

stay downtown towards Trinity College. the cost difference will take care of its self in cab and bus fare to that part of town. From there it's an easy walk to everything Plus the lodging in that area in much more intiment and pleasant.
