Close to the city center with access to the rest of Ireland

Beresford Hotel Dublin is a good base for getting anywhere in Ireland. Not only is it right in the center of the financial district in the city center, but the hotel also sits around the corner from Busárus, the city's bus and rail hub. Guests have a choice of modern, city comfort rooms or Georgian rooms that evoke Dublin's grand buildings, like the stunning 18th century Custom House. The hotel's impressive conference center is housed in a Georgian building with a private entrance. Dining services are also offered.

While in the area, corporate travelers can join conferences at Convention Centre Dublin while tourists watch concerts at The O2 Arena and take in performances at Bord Gais Energy Theatre. Vacationers also catch  Gaelic games and other sporting events at Croke Park.

Highlights
  • Lively and friendly café and bar and quirkily decorated restaurant
  • Business center and dedicated meeting rooms in Georgian building with private entrance
Rooms

Beresford Hotel's 104 rooms offer guests the choice of city comfort rooms, which feature modern furnishings, TV, tea and coffee station and laptop safes, or Georgian rooms with plush period features and modern conveniences like Wi-Fi access. No bar, location means noise

By the bus station and railway, this hotel is not the best for agood night's sleep. Noise from pipes and paper thin ceilings don't help either. No bar. In Dublin! Breakfast OK.

OK, but wouldn't recommend

The hotel has limited facilities (no bar!) and its location alongside side the DART and Lua, next to the Garda station and the main city bus station means it's great for transport but awful for noise. Internal noise is also bad from the water system and other guests. Overall I've stayed in worse, and it's not a bad hotel but if a late night drink and and a good night's sleep are on your must have list, look elsewhere.

Dublin Night Away

Most of the Staff were lovely and more than helpful. the room was nice clean except for the shower bottle wedged at the back of the shower (not easily seen). the previous occupier obviously didn't want to have to stand on top of the tap heads to get a shower. No adjustment with shower head. The Main issue with the hotel was the noise. At 6 months pregnant we got a room at the front of the hotel, with no double glazing. Many hostel near by, & people were singing until 3/5 in the morning, (no staff members/bouncers seemed to tell them to shut up). Following this as the location is beside, the bus, Luas, and dart lines these can be heard first thing in the morning. Its a pity as some noise cancellation would go a long way to making this a lovely hotel.
