extremely helpful for early arrival.

We landed early and went to find the hotel. We were 5 hours early and they still gave us our room. I was totally amazed by that! thank you so much!! Little further away from things, but it was only a drop off point for when we first landed.

good place to rest

The most greatest thing. ..we landed early in morning, went to find where hotel was. They let us check in like 5 hours earlier! !!! That was so awesome. Very helpful front desk. For whatever reason the bathtub/shower is very high step. So an elderly person might have trouble.Have to use your key card to turn on lights in the room...had to figure that out. That was amusing. Gas station nearby that has ATM ( able to walk it).

Turn left out of parking lot, up the corner is gas station with ATM, McDonald's. If turn right at that same corner, there is a carry out restaurant called Andy's.

Nice little gem!

Booked fir a week long city break in Dublin, due to the lower cost and facilities. The hotel's pool, spa and gym facilities in particular, whilst perhaps a little 'dated' in the latter case, were great, and very simple to use without any hassle at all. The accomodation too was comfortable and very spacious for the price, and whilst the decor was a little too '90s', even this made the place more homely than many other hotels of its type. Rooms were serviced with fresh towels daily, and the service staff were very accommodating, (especially for those who don't enjoy too early a start!). Most staff were friendly and, though the hotel were struggling with a broken card machine which meant that we had to be let into the rooms manually, we're more than happy to do so at any time of day or night. It was refreshing to have a real conversation with reception staff who seemed human and had a sense of humour. Given the high costs of inner-city Dublin, both for accommodation and everything else, the location, whilst by no means 'pretty' was great for its proximity to the regular tram service into town, and perfect when wanting to escape the hustle and bustle of town with a relaxing spa session. A definite must for someone wanting something a little bit different without the price tag!

Time-saving tip: Short walk from hotel

The hotel seems, at face value to be in the middle of an industrial estate, but is less than 5 mins walk from the main tram (Luas) line that runs every few mins from 05:30 to after midnight, and takes you directly into the centre, with handy stops at Heuston station and close to the Guiness factory on the way. Get a multipass if planning to travel more than once!

Just Ok

The hotel was fine. The room was ok and clean. The shower made funny noises and the water pressure varied during your shower. The staff in the hotel were very nice but the staff in the restaurant were terrible. Bad service and didn't feel welcome. They even asked me to sign the bill before I got my food!! For us, the hotel was only a place to crash as we had to be in Crumlin hospital most of the time. In this case the hotel is very close to the hospital and it was in a handy location. Overall it was an average experience

Trouble with Front Desk Staff

I booked this hotel while my family and I were in Dublin for the day and we wanted to stay overnight locally. I have made many travel plans through an online travel site in previous years. Everything went well with checking in and obtaining keys for 2 rooms. The rooms were clean and the lobby area was decent. We took advantage of the pool facilities, which were a pleasant surprise. However, upon checking out, a woman at the front reception told me that she only received 1 booking online and that I needed to pay for another room. I was quite concerned because I received the confirmation after booking that stated my credit card was charged for the full amount that included 2 rooms. My family waited patiently, but the conversation with the woman at the front desk was very upsetting and delayed our visit to Dublin by nearly two hours. Even after calling my credit card company in the US confirming the payment, the woman still did not believe and wanted an email confirmation from the travel site. I refused to pay, knowing that I had already pre-paid, but the hotel never received the booking.

ok

The hotel was clean and nice, a bit out of town but the Luas stop is only a two minute walk away. I Did not have ant food or use the pool/spa as we only stayed one night for a concert. The room was small and clean, the bed was comfy except the pillows, not plug sockets near the bed was a pain. My main complaint would be the shower was the worst hotel shower I've ever encountered, you have to get into it to turn it on as it's not reachable from outside the bath but then it takes a minute or two to heat?? Horrible, also the pressure was terrible, it was like getting dribbled on rather than showered, also the window wouldn't stay open. The doors need serious sound proofing, I'm a heavy sleeper but my partner was kept awake during the night by very noisy drunks, there was a gap at least an inch under our door, how are you supposed to keep noise out with that? It's ok for a one night stay but I would not stay here for longer, definitely not.

Very Affordable

we got a great deal for a two night stay. Easy access to city centre. Bar and reception staff very friendly and helpful. the negative side, had requested a meal in the restaurant on the Sunday night (of a Bank Holiday weekend). The restaurant was closed at 7.30pm, which seemed to be very early. Food was cold, served on a cold plate. We complained to the waitress who told us there was nothing could be done as the manager was off. Only disappointing aspect of an otherwise very good weekend

Nice and also affordable

Really, we just used the hotel as a staging place so that we could catch an early flight out of Dublin the next morning, closing out our vacation to Ireland. The only disappointment was that the hotel is not as close to the airport as we had hoped. It's actually 15 miles or so. In this sense, we thought the hotel's website, touting proximity to the airport, was a bit misleading

Make sure you have a gps system on your rental car or map/clear directions on how to get to the hotel to or from the airport, as you can get pretty lost, even as you try to orient yourself to left-lane driving...

Not bad

The hotel is a decent place to spend the night waiting for a flight but I wouldn't recommend it if your main purpose is to sight see in Dublin. Transportation via taxi or bus will be required. There are not many restaurants in the area of the hotel but the pub attached to the hotel is fantastic. The waitstaff and bartenders are friendly and know everyone, even brand new guests, by name. The food was impressive and reasonably priced.

If a pub crawl is high on your list for your Irish experience, stay away from Good Friday and Christmas. Businesses are prohibited from selling alcohol on these days.
