Awesome and comfortable getaway

The room was amazing and so was the location. It's about a 25min walk to the center city which is not bad at all and it's right next to the Liffey. The attention was also great. I would definitely recommend this hotel and look forward to staying again.

Friendly Staff

Overall, this was a good hotel and a great hotel for families. It's a 20 minute walk to the City Center but you can catch the tram, which is about a 3 minute walk from the hotel. It's something to keep in mind if you enjoy walking around town and like to go back to your hotel for a break. The staff was very friendly and the rooms were clean. If I were to go back to Dublin, I'd probably pay more to stay at the Radisson or splurge on the Westbury Hotel.

Dining tip: Short drive from hotel

If you are a vegetarian, the Cornucopia restaurant on Wicklow Street in Dublin is a great option. Traveling to other cities can be a challenge for vegetarians so it's great to find good restaurants like this one.

Excellent Hotel and Location

The staff was very professional and courteous. The location was such that it was only a 20 minute walk to the downtown area. There were other places to dine nearby; I found 'Nancy's' to be an excellent Pub with good cuisine and friendly staff...about 100 meters from the hotel.

Lovely Hotel in great location

I loved my time at the Ashling and I stayed for 6 days. The staff was incredibly nice, the rooms were nice and the food from the restaurant was excellent. My only complaint is that my room didn't have a refrigerator.... but that's my issue :) Everything else was perfect. The best location right across the street from the train/bus station. I highly recommend this hotel.

The Heuston Train station is right across the street! Very convenient. Also located right near the River Liffey.
