The Arlington Hotel

The staff was friendly and helpful. The location was great for the sights we wanted to see. The super large pub with live entertainment was the largest pub we saw in Dublin. Overall this was a excellent bargain.

Check in

On checking in I was made to present my credit card and pay again-even though I was able to show my pre paid receipt.Eventually I was recredited "The reason he was under pressure at the time of check in" I was the only person checking in and at 8.30 in the evening!

All you need

Loved it. Fabulous value. Booked the dinner & show which was wonderful! Everyone was clapping & cheering & it really put you in holiday mode. I would definately recommend the hop-on hop-off Dublin bus as it picked you up at the airport & also did the return run. It then does tours with 24 stops all around Dublin & picks up & drops off right outside the hotel. I recommend considering booking breakfast as it is well worth it & very good value.

Location location location!

Had a great stay in Dublin was up for shopping and a concert in the O2. Location is right next to O'Connell street so is perfect while shopping if u want to go drop bags off in the room:) O2 is about 20 minute walk but was perfect for us as it was a lovely day for it otherwise a taxi would have got you there in 5 minutes:) I stayed here on 2 separate occasions. The first time we stayed in the front of the hotel which is the older part no lift and rooms are a but dated but still lovely and clean . The second time we stayed in the back which was way nicer and had a lift:) the bar on the hotel is brilliant Craic and food is lovely especially the chicken wings;) Only negative from me would be the service in the bar is a bit slow ! But all in all a great place to stay and great price rooms:)

Quick Trip to Dublin

I loved this hotel. The size of the bed was enormous, I got quite lost. The proximity to all the sites of Dublin was perfect and the floorshow in the evening was excellent.

CITY BREAK

The best thing was its location, close to the airport bus stop and walking distance from everywhere in the city centre. Next best was the lively music in the ground floor nightly club. However the reception staff were fairly uninvolved with the customers after the first arrival, and there could have been a better lobby lounge facility while waiting for the room to be ready. In the bedroom there were no extra blankets (to replace the duvet) and these had to be requested. Breakfast very varied but too costly at 7.euros.
